What would Liu Kang wear? His costume hasn't changed in ten years! Even Superman changed costumes after a while. But, yes, I think old school costumes would be wonderful to see and equip. Konquest mode seems to be nothing but old school costumes, so that's a plus, but old school costumes with Next-Gen graphics would have this fan-boy panting. Mmm. Kitana... Fatality.

That would be ultra cool. Imagine Scorpion ad Sub Zero in their MK1 costumes or Smoke in his MK2 costume...

This sounds like a fun idea to me. Some particularly nice additions would be, as stated, MK2 Mileena, MKG Baraka, MK1 Scorpion and Sub-Zero, MK1 Raiden, and maybe even Cyborg Smoke.

As for Scorp's, he hadn't really had many differences on his.

Cool idea, but I'm only interested in 1 - REPTILE! That would be great, if he had his regualr liazrd look, then had his classic ninja look unlockable.

I don't like this idea. Liu Kang and Kabal buy their clothes in a thrift store.

now.. Call me crazy if you want to.. but you can tell that the influence of the old school costumes is shown in the alt. costumes of some of the old pallet(sp??) swaps.. like Ermac.. his alternate is a new costume... but it does have the UMK3 influence there.. IMO.

I do like the idea. Just imagine:

Mk1: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya.

Mk2: Mileena, Jade.

Mk4: Sonya.
