I think it's time people stop thinking everybody his a ''Ninja''!! ( conserning characters in general)

I read many threads about this.

People gotta stop saying that everybody his a ninja.

I agree with the fact that Scorpion and Sub-Zero are ''ninjas''.

But, Ermac, Noob and compagny now have their own apparence. Just stop calling them Ninjas.

And it's hard to follow some people around here. Some are already flaming the game about the fact that there his too Much ''ninja'' in it, but they are the same people who would love too see Smoke and reptile back in their ''human Ninja'' form.

It's really hard to follow some guys around here.

I mean, Ermac is Ermac, and Noob is Noob. I could understand if they were just Palette swaps, but they are now different.

I don't know if people will get my point, but I had to say that.

It's hard to expect anything good from a fighting game when half of the people in here flame the characters before the game is even out

I get what your saying about the whole people contradicting themselves and all, but look at Noob and Ermac's outfits, they my be completely different styles in uniform now, but it still doesn't change the fact that they are Ninja uniforms, especially Ermac. So while the Ninjas all look different now, they are still "ninjas" Personally I have never been a fan of these two, I do like Scopion and Subzero, but maybe this game will change my mind about them.

So what if they are ninjas they all have different moves. I could sit here and complain because there are to many humans. If they all look different and have different moves than who cares. Why are all the characters white. How come the games so male dominated. Tell me who you'd rather have in the game and I'll have a complaint right back for ya cause "theres too many...."

No, you misunderstood me, I'm not saying I have a problem with them being Ninja's I was just stating in response to the thread that they are still Ninja's besides I said that I wasn't really a fan of THOSE two, but also that MKD could change my mind because of the very reasons you said (New and Different moves, different fighting style etc.) smile

Those are pretty weak comparisons. If someone says to you, "What kind of character is Johnny Cage?" you don't say he's a white male, you say he's a martial arts actor. You're making it sound arbitrary, and it's not. A "ninja" is a type of warrior, with a specific image. The word "ninja" puts a much more specific idea in your mind than the phrase "white male." When there are too many characters of a particular type of warrior, even if they're variations of that type of warrior, that means there's less room for other types of warriors.

Well when they made Mortal Kombat, they based it around Chinese mythology, so of course its gonna be full of ninjas. Besides, everyone should stop ******, its not like they have made anymore. I dont consider frost a ninja because shes a exact subzero ripoff(thoguth and she sucks)
