Hey ppl!, I haven't come on the forums for quite a while now for SPOILER reasons. I finished the game with Noob-Smoke and I was totally gobsmacked. I mean Noob Saibot = MK1 Sub-Zero(WHOA!
), when I first saw when it said that Sub-Zero(MKD) was his brother, that was surprising a bit but when it said that Noob Saibot died at the hands of Scorpion, I knew he was the original Sub-Zero. I thought this was the most surprising ending but really cool though. Really sick, how could he kill his brother, real nasty guy :D.

I was shocked too. It all makes sense though how Noob was introduced in MK2.

I dunno, but I think that (sounds crazy but that's my opinion) Sub-Zero will not appear in the next game. There are far too many endings stating that he dies in MKD; besides, he's pretty old...
But I think that Noob Saibot will somehow turn back to his human form; to the original Sub-Zero. Dunno how, but somehow.
What do you guys think?

I think Smoke will become good again and avenge his friends death (kill Noob). And your not crazy, i'm starting to think that Scorpion and Sub-Zero need some time out. So in a few more games time we will be excited about them again. There over using them.

i agree with you GrandMaster_Sub-Zero, i think that noob will somehow come to his senses and become sub zero.
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
In Ashrahs if i remember corractly she kills noob with her sword but perhaps she just turns him into sub zero again.

Yeah, it was a shocker for me too. It does explain quite a lot and it was interesting how they never seemed to connect those two characters in the past MK games. I think John Tobias was planning to take older Sub-Zero's storyline to a different direction with that MKT ending of his, but I kind of like that he became Noob Saibot. In my opinion, I think Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot will be rivals of each other in future MK games and such. I doubt that we'll be seeing Sub-Zero go anytime soon. Sure, he's old, but I think him being part cryomancer gives him certain advantages when it comes to age. I have a feeling that he'll probably be like Mr. Freeze with the age slowing thing, know what I mean?
I doubt Noob Saibot can turn back into the person he once was. Hopefully, his role in the MK storyline will get bigger.

Youre right about the thing you said in the spoiler.
I was equally shocked, but at the same time it explained alot when it came to the original sub-zero death and the time Noob-Saibot came. I would like to see smoke be good again, maybe have a storyline with him and Cyrax vs. Sektor.

Makes perfect sense to me. But then i've been saying that Noob is Sub's brother for about 5 years now too, so I figured it was only a matter of time.

Hell, they may have even taken your idea Shang.
I mean, one person that worked on the team said that they usually do things on their own and it's rare that they take ideas from the fans for it, but this could be one of those times where they thought it was a extremely good idea. To be honest though, it made a whole hell of a lot of sense so it's great that they added this plot twist in the story.
I mentioned something in about April about Sub-Zero and the original coming back and killing him to take his place in the Lin Kuei because it wasn't what it once was, but I wasn't on base like your prediction was. Mine was more about his missing scar, but yours was about Noob and you were right on. He "came back" so to speak, but you were DEAD on. Excellent work.
It gets Scorpion and Sub-Zero away from one another (possibly) and it leads to other opportunities. Sub-Zero and Scorpion may be linked forever in the Mortal Kombat story no matter what they do, but at least they'll have a little more substance due to their respective "jobs". They're my two favorite characters and just the fact that they can go anywhere with this is good.
Scorp could defend Noob for killing him and making him a wraith thereby making Scorpion kind of evil again.
Scorpion could defend Sub-Zero and watch his back from outside sources.
Sub-Zero's clan could be killed by someone, could it be Noob? Even Scorpion?
They could go a lot of ways and come up with a lot better twists than I can right now.
