After further clarification by the MKO staff, is has been clearly mentioned that there are no further selectable fighters in MKO, other than those on the character select screens in their respective modes.

But no, Shinnok is not unlockable. And Shinnok is NOT the only character to be mentioned as an ally or enemy who isn't playable...more than half the cast of DA, if not the entire cast of DA, is mentioned in people's 'allies/enemies' list, and they aren't playable, not to mention in Reptile's bio on the extra disc Khameleon is also mentioned.

Exactly. Shao Kahn is mentioned in Raiden's, for example. The Deadly Alliance is mentioned in several.
If they made those video trading cards for characters that aren't in MKD, like Sonya, Jax, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Goro, Reptile, etc., I don't see why they wouldn't put other characters that aren't in the games as allies and enemies of the characters. I don't know where you got the idea that Shinnok was the only non-MKD character mentioned in the video cards, when there are at least a dozen.

Where is the Mortal Kombat Online Select Screen ShingoEX? And why are you even talking about MKO when we are clearly talking about MKD. Actually, the Mortal Kombat Online Staff is hardly believable. They didn't quote any of the Mortal Kombat Team, all they said was NO. Next Fight Night, record it with a camera, I mean kamera, because thats the only time I can actually see and UNDERSTAND them.
