I agree. Fujin is one of my favourites, and hes an awesome character. He needs to return in MKD. Apart from raiden, fujin is basically the only god that has been shown and playable. He has great potential, and is a great character in MK4.

If raiden sits out in MKD, i hope fujin makes a debut.

Just kidding, I love Fujin! By far the most original fighter in MK4 (in my opinion although Quan Chi was awesome) and he could spice it up with a new storyline.

What's so great about him? He was so unoriginal, a pure Kung Lao rip-off. He's a protector of Earthrealm and is not allowed to leave his new duties. He can't replace Raiden, he just can't do it.

They can make Raiden more interesting without Fujin's return. The story of MK always comes last, so they won't bring him back just because the story needs it.
Gameplay-wise Fujin has nothing special to offer. Sure, they'll give him 3 fighting styles, but they should replace all of his special moves. Why? Because they are rip-offs. Is it worth the effort? I don't thinks so. There are characters that already have unique special moves and deserve to come back more than Fujin does.
I always thought MK4 had the worst new characters with Fujin and Shinnok being the worst of the worst. Of course, Quan Chi was a lone exception. That's why I don't want Fujin back. It doesn't mean I don't respect your choice. Please, tell me - do you like him as a fighter or you like his story? I'm curious.

I don't agree with you about MK4 having the worse new characters. MK Deadly Alliance takes that title. MK4, if anything, had some of the best new characters.

Yeah MK4 had sweet ass new characters. Jarek, Reiko (aka Kahn), Shinnok. Those guys were beastly. MKDA has the worst new characters, i mean come on Nitara? Lei Mei? Mavado(So Gay!) Hsu Hao. But still the 2 worst MK characters of all time are Stryker and Kai

How come Kai is worse than Shinnok? Sninnok barely had his own moves. I think he's the worst character ever.

Personality, I prefer LI MEI (no Lei Mei), Nitara, Mavado & Hsu Hao then Shinnok (MK4), Jarek, Reiko (the worse character ever) and Kai.

In MKDA appears the best new characters after the MK2... and and I I would not like that it returned Fujin, likes more than Raiden, but hatred the characters that are Gods.

I'd like 2 see Fujin come back; I'd also like 2 see a water god; with Fujin I noticed something in an old pamplet that u got when u preordered MK4 from Best Buy: it had the moves for Fujin and Sonya; it said that Fujin's worst enemy is someone called "Ail" - could make a storyline with that introducing a new character as well!

Fujin was pretty cool. The only problem was nobody got a real taste of him cause his roles throughout MK were minimal. I think another MK with Fujin in it would be pretty cool

Kai was good as a fighter, but his story sucked harder than an industrial vaccum. I did like Fujin, I thought his wind power was cool and I was glad to see him in Annihalation(at least I think it's him.)And if anybody says that Reiko is Khan again, I'm stabbing them with a butter knife. REIKO IS NOT KHAN, NEVER WAS NEVER WILL BE!!!!!!!His ending shows that he becomes ruler of out world after killing Shinnok. And if you are true MK fans would have seen MK Konquest. It showed Reiko by Khan's side.(Which brings me to another question.)How old is Smoke? They showed him in Konquest which is set 500yrs before MK1.

EXACTLY. Let's look at MK 4's characters:


Kai-Poorly put together character; boring storyline.
Shinnok-Great concept; a fallen elder God. However his look was stupid, and he was just a Shang Tsung.
Reiko-The lamest character ever. They took the DC Comics Green Lantern's head, and put it on a Ninja body. His move set was heavily derivitive too.
Jarek-Wait? Did I see Reiko was the lamest? Jarek is. Jarek was just Kano, without the eye piece. Such a waste of space.
Tanya-Basically a Kitana pallate swap. She has very typical fighting game moves.
Fujin- Wow, Kung Lao lost his hat, grew a foot, and became a God....lame.
Quan Chi-The only classic character created in MK after MK 2, until Deadly Alliance.


Mortal Kombat DA's characters were atleast not rehashed. Also I think Drahmin, Kenshi, Moloch, and Mavado proved that they don't need Tobais for character designs. Those characters look better than any of MK3 or MK4's characters.
