What about having a "Fatality Practice" feature. Where you can practice doing the fatalities that are a little difficult for you, you can enter the practice, it will say finish him/her right away, then you try the fatality you want, to see if you got it right.

What do you think? grin

I don't think it would be that great. yeah, you could practice the fatalities, but half the fun of doing them in the game it pulling off an insanely hard combonation and then watching the cool fatality. Being able to practice jsut the fatality seems kind of like cheating a little to me.

How is it cheating? Is it any more cheating than going into versus mode, letting player 2 stand dormant while you kick his ass, then repeat the process? No, it's just less time consuming.

Personally I think it's a pretty good idea, but the main thing I wanna see practice-wise is the option of having the practice opponant either inactive, active or human controlled, like in MK4. It's fun just to beat up the computer without worrying about winning and losing, and it's much better practice than just fighting a dormant character. But maybe the fatality practice option could be included in the practice option screen.

I don't like the idea. It takes out all the fun and glory of doing it to a real person. Also after trying it so many times in the practice mode, performing the fatality in a real match would get old, because, you've seen it so many times. Besides, after a while, you will memorize how to do all of the fatalities anyway, so it wouldn't really make a whole lot of difference.

But it is a good idea though.

How about for the fatality practice (and a little humor), if you could perform the fatalities on past MK characters that are not in the game. For example Stryker or Nightwolf stand there and wait for you to kill them.

the idea sounds neat, but then again i really wouldnt like to see it in the game. most people dont have trouble pulling fatalities off.

maybe instead of actually doing the fatality, it plays a memery game..something like "test your memory" or something like that. for example..scorpions mkda fatality. its b-b-d-b-4. so, the "b" appears on the screen for a few seconds. then it asks you what you saw. then you press "b"..if correct:"tooo easy" if wrong:"pathetic"

then it shows "b-b-d"..then it asks you what the correct combination was. if correct:"excellent" and you get like 250 koins. if wrong:"feeble" and you start over.

then eventually it comes to "b-b-d-b-4". if correct "outstanding" 500 koins. if wrong:"dont make me laugh"..and you loose the koins you won earlier. after you do this with every character about 3 times, it should be disabled so people cant get easy koins.

so, instead of doing the fatality, you are remembering the button code, and getting rewarded.
it would br cool if they used this feature for special moves and maybe combos as well.

Or.... If correct: "Superb"... If wrong: "You will never win." smile

i think that that would take away some of the excitment from the game... how many times have you or your opponent tried to punch a code in and couldnt get it to work.... you try over and over and couldnt get it that time... thats the only practice you should need.....keep it real!

By the way, if the fatality combinations are as easy to perform as the ones in MK:DA, you shouldn't really need a practice mode for them. I mean, you have a fatality stance so you can't jump around or anything, so practice isn't really needed.

I agree with Scorpio that way you won't get tired of seeing the fatality over and your practicing in a way and having fun doing it like in a "test your memory game" as Scorpio mention. :)

it would be retarded. pepole with no skill could figure out what the combo is, button mash then do the fatality and people would call them the god of mk. (i told my bro a fatality all he does is botton mash and he is gonsiderd god of mk) furious

I think it would be cool to practice a fatality on another fighter.

I'm torn on that idea. If the fatalities are as easy to perform as they were in MKDA, no way. But if they are insanely difficult like some were in MK Trilogy, why not.
