How in the hell would it still be MK without the original characters you moron!!! That, by far, is the worse idea i've ever heard for MK6. It would be stupid and pointless, just like Jason X. Throwing a storyline into the future that way is a sure way to kill a series.

This series needs a little more new blood. Besides whenever they bring in a new character 90% of the damn time they never come back. Also im not one for swearing but in this case i'll make an exception. FUCK you asshole!
