Guys, Smoke will be a cyborg in one of his forms so get over it. Quit denying that he won't. Ok, if smoke won't be a cyborg then what the hell is this?

Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat and Lead Programmer for Mortal Kombat: Deception made an appearance on G4 earlier on in the week.

While on G4's show, "Electric Playground", Ed Boon has confirmed 3 new characters (Sektor, Smoke, and Kabal), and 1 new arena (The Living Forest). Kabal's look will be completely revamped, and the TWO cyber-ninjas will sport quite a different look from Deadly Alliance's Cyrax.

LOL then why in the hell would he refer to them as CYBORGS. You don't refer to a person as a cyborg if they are not normally a cyborg. Good grief.

He never said "cyborg" he said "cyber" so could this mean that Sektor and Smoke have gone full android?
If this is the case then I have an idea for Smoke's entrance and outfit. His entrance could first start out as a wire frame and then fill in with his textures and full body.And if he's a full android he should have a Japanese look, much like the robots in Z.O.E. so it's more human.
He shouldn't wear a helmet. His hair should be a platinum white, and come down to his back in a pony tail. He still would have free hair on his head. His left arm should be completely cybernetic. It should have circuts runing up and down his shoulder. His right forearm is also cybernetic. His left eye is blancked out giving him an evil stare. From his right shoulder to top of his abs, should be cybernetic and his left side is flesh. He would have two side plates on his hips. His belt is like the one that Kabal wore except it's slung over one hip and he has two of them, so they criss cross. He would have black pants with armor plating on the side and front. His boots would be black and silver and would reach up to his knees. The would have vents which would shoot out smoke, along with the ones on his arms. He would have a scare that went across his nose.

Boon was referring to returning old cyborgs. Smoke is NOT a cyborg in his main form but it could be an alternate you never know.

There was a small sketch of Smoke fighting BoRaiCho on the netherbelly stage in the PSM issue that first revealed MKD to the world. In that sketch Smoke had his human ninja form from MK2. So im gonna go with that. It's the only evidence we have of Smoke's appearance at this point, unless someone from the MKD team confirms otherwise.

And when Boon said, "And the two cyber-ninjas will sport quite a different look from Deadly Alliance's Cyrax", it doesnt necessarily mean that smoke will be a cyborg in MKD. I think he's just talking about their most recent incarnations of Smoke and Sektor being cyborgs (in MK3 and MK4 Gold respectively).

What's there to argue about. Smoke was first made playable in MK3 via code. In UMK3 his ninja form was put as a bonus. His cyborg story is more tied with recent events then Human Smokes.But whatever, this is stupid shit that's not worth getting bitchy over.

This is the Li Mei debate all over again. But unlike the Li Mei Strife, I knew the confusion would end relatively soon due to E3. We may have to put up with this shit until August.

I never said he was. All I said was that his main story was hi cyborg form. As for him being a cyborg in Deception.....I doubt it.
