Right now reptile's status is still up in the air...he hasn't been confirmed dead...but he hasn't been confirmed alive either.....some people said he would be in deception(as a regular charactar or super unlockable) but we've had no confirmation on that as of yet....

I thought right now, reptiles ending was still canon. If it is, that means he was transformed into the dragon king. In the game, it sounded like this was against his will, so maybe the dragonking is just using his body.

In the intro, we're led to believe that Shujinko had a hand (accidentally) in helping revive the Dragon King.

Reptiles ending STILL could have happened, I just find it unlikely, since they seem to kinda pin the blame on Shujinko.

In mkda the dragon that was in the egg in the Lava stage isn't the dragon king that is in mkd.

Well it could be Reptile! Or actually i think it's more like he's posessed by the spirit of the dragon king. Like his body was just taken over completely. Maybe someone's ending will show you the truth after he's defeated...

if you guys payed attention you would notice reptile changing more into the dragon form in every mortal kombat.. he started human and then started getting more lizard like untill deadly alliance he was almost fully reptillian.. and it sais in the profile his body was changing to become well you know...... and his ending did happen... i dont see why its so hard for everyone do understand.

Reptile's body was transformed into that of the Dragon King, along with the Dragon King's mind and soul.

Reptile is now a soul unable to control his body, but unable to leave his own, because it's now the Dragon King.

Reptile's soul is as good as dead, but his body still lives.

Well maybe Reptile and his body being "twisted and transformed" means that Onaga used his body as his own personal vessel... Maybe...

i belive FLSTYLE has hit the nail on the head...his D.A. ending has indeed come true as it would seem......i'm not happy about this because it does mean that reptile is in fact dead...i guess it's kind of a fitting end though...he went from everyone's bitch to becoming the most feared king in all of mortal kombat...technically anyway

Reptile is NOT the Dragon King. The Dragon King awakened and was called forth due to Shujinko not stopping him, and he is going to reclaim his throne. The Dragon King/Onaga was once Supreme Ruler.

Now, tell me this. How can a Ruler of Outworld be unborn? He can't The Dragon King is a different character than Reptile, and Reptile's ending was of a dragon different than him. He was transformed into a more powerful being. Not the Dragon King. No where did it say that, and nowhere did Anyone on the Midway team say he was Onaga.

I remember Reptile's ending being something along the lines of:

"Reptiles body was filled with an immense power and his body was transformed. The profecy (SP?) had been furfilled, the Dragon King had returned."

The DK's essence and soul were stored in the egg, when the DK's essense went into Reptile the DK became the dominant being in Reptiles body, therefore transforming Reptile's body.

Now it is if it was never Reptile's body to begin with.

I agree with you, Reptile has been changing from human to dragon, and in reptiles ending it says that the prophesy has been fullfiled and that the dragon king has been reborn
