I think he will be good Just This ONCE! To take out Onaga and get rid of Quan and rule outworld for himself. He will come back looking the same but he will be a way better fighter and sorcerer ( however u spell it). Since he has become stronger he once to take out that pussy Quan.
Who ran away like a gurl.
He confronts Quan... Quan very shocked that Shangs alive.
The talk they have before the fight.
Quan: How did u survive that blast?
Shang: I have my ways i dont need to run away!
*Quan lookin very angry now*
Quan : How did u find me?!
Shang : i told you i have become stronger that blast took away nearly all of my life all i had was spells..but the soulnado was gone so i knew i needed to make up my own spell...
I chanted and chanted till i got a spell strong enough that was able to bring me back to life.
I felt brand new like thousands of years had been knocked of of me..I felt stronger and thanks to that spell it gave me more power i can do more spells and do better spells im stronger. AND IM MUCH ALIVE.
* stares at Shang..fear begins to overcome Quan*
*He begins to run however Shang throws out his hands and a ring of fire circles Quan and Shang*
Quan whips around and shoots the skull at Shang..Shang quickly evades it and shoots a fireball at Quan...Sending Quan flying back..
Shang began to say a spell ( Quan never heard it before)...Shang made a fiery double of himself... It ran straight toward Quan..Quan shot out a blast at the fiery shang. But it jumped over it and now it was quite close but in the nic of time.
Quan shot a skull at the fiery double but when it made contact with the projectile it blew up...sending Quan flying backwards ( on fire) he contunied flying threw the ring of fire..
Quan his now extremely burnt....
*But Shang wasnt the only one who knew new tricks*
He began to chant and some of the serious burns went away but before he could finish Shnag ran up to Quan and puched him directly in the nose..
(as Shang ran towrds quan the ring of fire made a space for shang to run through and it continued to remain there after shang left the ring)
*Stopping Quan from being able to finish the spell*
*Blood began to drickle down Quans nose like a fauscet*
Quan and Shang engaged in battle.
Quan kicked Shang back then threw a punch to the side of shangs face but shang blocked it.. only to be punched in the other side of his face.
Shang stumbled back but caught his self Shang delivered a kick to Quan temple dropping quan immedatly. Quan rolled over and shot a skull at Shang.
Shang went flying back and hit the ground hard.
Quan ran and went to jump on Shang..but Shang quickly rolled to the side and sprung himself up and kicked Quan in the back.
Quan whipped around and went to deiver a backfist to Shangs temple.. but Shang blocked it and delivered a sidekick to Quans ribs then he quickly backfisted Quan in the face...
Quan stumbled back and fell to the ground.
He sprung up and pulled out his swords Shang bagan to shoot fireballs at Quan but Quan blocked them all with his swords. A smile appeared on Quans face but that smile was about to dissapear as fast as it appeared. Quan ran toward Shang spining the swords. Quan jumped up in the air coming down ready to strike..
Shang quicly said a spell in a very cold voice..
Then Shangs eyes turned red and as the swords came down Shang through his hands out and caught them..
HE kicked Quan back and as Quan went sailing back he shot a fireball at him.. Quan dropped both swords and hit the ground very hard.
Quan looked at Shangs hands..there was no blood..
Shang laughed and said ah do you see how great my new spells are... not even your swords couldnt even pierce me hands.
Quan tried to get up but fell to his knees..
*A smile appeared on Shags face*
Shang threw his hand out to the ring of fire and it became a huge fire ball.. Quan looked up to see that huge fire ball flying toward him.
All that was keft of Quan was some bones and dust.
Shang defeated Quan.
And know he only needs to defeat the DK and he will be ruler of outworld.

Quans soul shot out of the dust and Shang summoned it to himself.
Shang now has Quans soul.
As Shang begin to leave he sinced someone watching him..
He stopped for a second (just to tease the spy) then he continued to walk.
Baraka jumped from the bacony and dove for Shang..Shang whipped around and threw his hands out
(Baraka was stopped in mid-air) then Shang threw Baraka to the side.
Baraka hit the ground and slid backwards.
Baraka : When did you learn that new trick?
*Dusting himself off*
Baraka : what the hell are you doin here any way?
Shang : so i assume you didnt see the fight.
Baraka : what fight?
Shang : Look behind you.
*Baraka tuned around and saw the bones and dust*
Baraka : who was that? THAT CaNT HAVE BE QUAN CHI?!
( Baraka was shocked to see that Quan was killed by Shang so easily)
*Shang laughed and nodded his head yes*
Shang : why were you here?
Baraka : to kill Quan and take over his palace for i am now a general in Onaga's army.
Shang : An army that will not last long, Baraka join me before Onaga the DRAGON KING is defeated and you die along with him.
*Baraka showed his teeth out of anger*
Baraka : ONAGA IS INVINCIBLE!
Shang : When im threw with him he'll be the last thing ever to rule outworld before me SHANG TSUNG RULER OF OUTWORLD!
Baraka : you have high dreams too bad that cant be fulfilled.. because i was sent to assainate both you and Quan.
Baraka : thanks for helping me now i only have to defeat you
Shang : Good luck...I shall kill you so eaily!
Shang : and i will bring your dead bones to the DK then kill him to!
Baraka : You are only as strong as you are now because off all those souls you too but i will still defaet you.
Shang : You didnt hear the great news.. Im now more powerful! i dont even need any of the souls i ever took
b/c im stronger then all of them put together! Even with the new soul i took.
*Shang told Baraka how he became much stronger still Baraka did not back down*
Baraka : So if you ever face the DK will you have to use everything? Even those souls?
Shang : you mean when i defeat him and no i doubted ill need to use the souls! Im much stronger and more powerfyl im a force to be reckond with!
Baraka : In order to get to Onaga you'll have to get through me!
Shang : wow what a challenge....
Barak pulls out his blades and run towards Shang..
Shang pulled out his sword they began to fight the blades and the sword flying left right and every direction..
Baraka finally makes contact with Shangs face when he throws Shangs sword upwards and cuts him across the face and kicks him backwards
Shang takes a step back and then charges forward knocking both of the blades out of the way then cutting Baraka several times
across his face, chest, and stomach.
Baraka did several back hand spring backwards then shot a blast at Shang. Shang flew backwards
but while in the air he shot a fireball at Baraka. Baraka threw his blades out infront of him to protect himself

Shang began to follow Baraka ( Baraka did not know this)
He found THE DK palace then left to regain all of his energy...

Shang competed in mortal kombat and made to Onaga before ne 1 else even before Shujinko....
Shang however found out that Liu Kang was also approaching so Shang decided to stay back
to watch the fight he knew Liu had no chance.
Liu Kang slowly approached the DK... Onaga stood up and walked towards Liu..
Liu quickly shot a blast at Onaga.. Onaga continued to walk forward not even feeling the attack
Liu jumped up and did the bicycle kick.. But as he flew toward The DK his legs still a kicking
Onaga caught both feet and threw Liu straight down! then kicked him across the ring..
Onaga grabbed Liu by the hair and punched him across the ring landing at Shujinkos feet.. who just walked in..
LIU KANG WAS DEFEATED!
Shujinko sprung at Onaga the fight lasted 5 whole minutes but Shujinko was kicked into the spikes
he brought DK back but he couldnt get rid of him..
Shang walked towards Onaga and used Quans skull move and hit him with hit..
Onaga began to laugh...
Shang and Onaga fought for ten minutes but Shang got kicked back... Shang got up and decided he was goin to summon all
his ouls and release it.. as the green energy got bigger and bigger he remember what happned to Raiden..
He pulled out his sword and continued to fight Onaga but onaga dodged every attack thrown by the sword
Onaga went to kick Shang but Shang jumped to the side and threw the sword straight at Onagas side only barley cutting him..
Onaga backhanded Shang..Shang knew he would need all his souls to defaet Onaga but before he fought Onaga he summoned Shujinkos
soul..
Shang and Onaga began to fight Shang delivering fast and hard blows all over Onaga and Onaga doing the same...
Shang jumped up and kicked Onaga in the face. Onaga's head flew back Onaga punched Shang sending Shang flying..
Shang almost flew into the spikes but he caught himself by throwing his hands out and he landed on the ground...
Onaga walked up to Shang a threw a punch put Shang blocked it and returned a punch to the DK temple he said the same

Shang told Rayden how he was going to take over OUTWORLD.
Rayden said ok
But expect to be beaten!

Not bad, pretty long read though! I love Shang fanfics, I love anything Shang to be honest. Story is kickass in regard to all his new powers. Writing style a little corny and blunt but still good. I'd give it a 3.5/5 I like how Shang gets the lasts laugh on Quan, damn Boon and co. for the outcome of their previous fight. Good job!
