we don't even know how accurate (if at all) that article is.....i say don't get your panties in a bunch over stuff that hasn't been confirmed....just cause it gets printed, don't make it true (ex. ErMac as a secret/playable/unique character in MK, Nimbus Terrafaux, Kano transformations etc...) that stuff was printed in one form or another and most of it turned out to be false....so, i say, wait and see.....the fact that Ken from street fighter is mentioned kinda makes me think the article contains mucho bullshittio.....just my 2 cents...

This German mag report clearly has to be BOGUS! If Midway put Ken Masters or any character with that same name in MKD, then they are taking a HUGE risk; not only in terms of sales, but also a big legal risk, as they could find themselves in court against Capcom over the use of Capcom's intellectual property! Capcom almost got sued by Matel over the same character and had to add a last name to him to avoid lawsuit. They also had to switch around the names of three of the SF2 bosses in order to avoid a possible lawsuit from Mike Tyson.

Midway is clearly a US-based company, and I have no idea what the German mags are talking about! I won't believe ANY of this until I hear word from Midway themselves, or better yet, from the tongue/pen of Ed Boon!

As far as the article being BS. We have no idea. Sure there are some questions. Like why a German mag would scoop US internet sites on a game made in the US, or why even now no one is carrying the story, but the site is legit. The mag is legit. I doubt they'd print all bullshit for the sake of filling a page or two.

Also, consider this: Midway has a lid on the news regarding MK until E3. So if news slipped out, or people got a hold of info that Midway didn't want released, do you think they'd confirm it? Hell no they wouldn't. They'd dismiss everything as rumors until E3, just like any other company would. "Oh, you blew everything that we were going to say in month, but since you guys did such a good job of investigative reporting, we'll just admit everything now and ruin all of our surprises meant for the biggest gaming convention of the year." Umm, I think not.

I agree that alot of these ideas are far-fetched. A female Kano? Umm, how exactly are they gonna do that? Bald? Red eye? Whiskers? Big muscles? That'll go over well.

As for Liu Kang's spirit. You all keep whining about the new info and what not, and how crappy the character list is now. I personally disagree. I like Liu Kang a HELL of a lot more than Cage and Kung Lao. So if he's in there, I'm fine with that. Besides, let the MK team reveal the characters looks/story, and find out how they play in MK's new style before you dismiss them.
