The 'Toasty' guy would be okay in the tetris-like mini-game since there is already some comedy involved. As for the actual combat, as much as I miss it it would be out of place.

if they have it on the portal stage it would be nice.

i think they need to go old school, and have a secret fighter pop up right before the match like reptile and smoke did and say somthing like "you cannot defeat me" or "my speed is unmatched"

and u should fight them at the question mark, they should return the question mark onto the arcade mode again.

lets say u deathtrap the opponent 2 times and get a flawless victory on the match before the question mark, you should fight the secret fighter.

there should be at least 3 secret fighters, like you beat the midboss without blocking once and u get a flawless victory, then the second round u deathtrap the midboss, you fight a secret fighter again.


thats what we need, and the 3rd secret fight will be by doing something special at the portal stage.

they shouldnt be generic, like smoke and noob had scorpions spear, and jade has kitanas fan. that is stupid they should have their own moves this time around.

and yea toasty should probably just stay in the puzzle kombat BUT also i think he should be in the chess kombat since it has mk2 stages like the portal he should say toasty!!!

thats sensible i guess i can agree to keep Toasty in the minigames like in MKDA he was in the test your might and since the minigames are already comedic that would fit. And what you said something like you get 2 flawless victorys and perform a fatality sounds familiar something like MK1 Reptile thats a good idea from the past thank you for not flaming the idea unlike Iownyou he stomped all over my other idea but i wont retaliate cause im better than that anyway thanks for your input!! :)

in puzzle it would be okay, but not in the actual game. He started to get annoying anyway, bless him.

I 100% agree!

In mini games yes, but NOT IN KOMBAT! I dont really miss it, but I guess the whole toasty guy is part of Mk.

SO, only in mini games.

Nice Thread. I loved Dan's famous catch-phrase ever since MK2. He sounds very funny. I wouldn't mind to have his voice during the fights. It would be funny if you would actually see him, than say "TOASTY!". But still the MK series are more serious, but for some cheap laughs I say put his voice in the game.
