It has been said during the production of MKA that they were gonna swipe the slate clean. Almost everyone believed (including me) that everyone was gonna die, but by swiping the slate I guess they meant that they were gonna re-invent MK, like they did with MKDA.

Still I believe a lot of characters die after MKA en many of them will never return. Jst a personal thought though.

I hope they dont get rid of all the characters if the ninjas die ill prolly kill myself.(joking...sorta)

lol, you're right. I guess that's why they created UMK, at least to bring back some favorites like for an instance, Scorpion.

But Boon mentioned he couldn't imagine an MK without Scorp and Subby somewhere around the release of MKA or even later than that. I guess he was referring to the future.
