How do I find Kung Lao? I know he is in Earthrealm at the temple but how do I get him to appear there??

after you beat konquest he is there

I used Ashrah.

There is more to getting him there than simply "Beating Konquest" lol.

you really can't get a 10 hit combo to work? I think the following should work extremely well for you, nightbear:
Shao Kahn:
1,1,2, u+6, cs b+8, shoulder ram, shoulder ram, d+5, uppercut
and with Kolochal:
3,2,4,1,1,1,1,1,1,1
Did you even bother trying to look on this forum for help with this topic. Had you done this, you would've found actually useful threads (unlike the ones you create) that list PLENTY of combos and strats for alot of characters, many of those being that would EASILY get you past this. But I'm sure you can't find any of those posts because the bullshit ones posted by people like you are flooding this place.
Also, Mobster, here's what you do to get Kung Lao (this is in GodessofLights very useful thread, which is probably on pg 10): When in earthrealm village as young Shujinko (Before being imprisoned in Orderrealm, I think that is the cutoff for this). talk to Shen (At the pagoda) and Wen (at the hut across the stream behind the pagoda). now forget them. Don't worry about them till the story bring you back to earthrealm and you beat Shang tsung. At this point, go back to Wen. He'll either give you the headband there or tell you to go kill monster men invading earth (can't remember exactly). the monster men are basically barakas near the portal. Upon defeating them, go back to Wen and I *think* this is when you get the headband (if he didn't already give it to you after beating Shang). Now, after beating Konquest, head to the Shaolin monastary (surrounded by water, 3 bridges, and has a big fire pot in the front yard). run up the ramp to find Kung Lao and 10 hit combo him. He'll send you looking for Kai. Go find Kai in the a-3 caves of Outworld (where you unlock tanya). He'll give you Raidens' staff. Go back to Kng Lao and he'll send you to destroy Shao Kahn. After that, no one knows what to do yet.

I did a 11-hit combo as Liu Kang. Did a regular 3-hit combo along with a bicycle kick.

No, i wasn't too harsh. Ass doctor?? Honestly, I'm all for making up insults, but that was pathetic. One, it was just rediculous. And two, if I was an ass doctor, I'd probably be pretty well-off. So way to go with that one. Also, instead of replying to this useless thread with more useless stuff, read the thread on high level gameplay. Do not reply to this thread, because as of now its free of bullshit like you post. But since this kung lao quest has random characterization, no one can specifically answer your question without giving you 10 hitters for all characters, which I don't even think we could do if we wanted to. This thread should have plenty of combos to get you past this quest.

How the hell would I know how to do a Sub Zero 10 hit combo? I'm a Tanya/jade player, not Sub. But if you, gee I don't, did what i told you to do twice now and READ THE MK:D HIGH LEVEL GAMEPLAY THREAD you would have found TONS of good subzero combos/strats. If you're just gonna ignore good advice over and over, I hope no one is kind enough to help you out.

Instead of telling him to look in another thread with three long posts wouldn't it be easier just to tell him how to or not say anything at all? You aren't the only one on this board, how do you know he's talking just to you?

Everything you said is totally 100% correct. I'm just honestly sick to death of him and felt like venting. I've never done it before on the forum, and I'll probably never do it again. I'm sorry if I pissed you off, but I really couldn't care less about him, since he basically just admitted that he's a big bullshitter who makes up lies for apparently no reason.

Next time just look at the switch stance combos and count them up.
A lot of people have 10 hit combos easily.

BTW Raptor, I did talk to Wen/Shen, but then when I talked to Shen after that, he told me I needed more experience as a fighter etc blah blah...
well I never spoke with him again and I beat Konquest.... and he is gone. Any ideas? Could you make send me a pm and give me Kung Lao's loc. so I can see if maybe he is there, or if I might have to search for Shen in hopes that I can get the headband somehow?
