I'm pretty sure that Jax and Sektor will be 2 of the 3 super unlockable...

I'm just guessing it by pure rationalisation, I've got no 'inside scoop'.
But in MKDA we had 2 hidden characters, so I think that in MKD, Ed will give us 3 super unlockable, only to say that we had more then in MKDA.
One of the 3 will be new, Jax name have been coming so often that I would not be surprise that he comes back with all those black dragon people in the game. Muay Thai have not been used by any other character so far, so I'm confident that it will belong to Jax and I'm pretty sure that is other style will be wrestling.
I'm almost certain that Sektor will be the other unlockable, why? because sambo and ninjistu have not been used yet, he is an easy to make character(a pallette swap to Cyrax) his name have been mentioned a couple of times and he is a popular character who would make an enemy for Sub-Zero

I reckon that there will be 4-6 super unlockables.
And I think it will be characters whose styles have been sued for other characters.
Shang Tsung, Kitan and Quan Chi I reckon are the best bets for Super unlockables. Their styles (with the exception of Eagle Claw) have all been used, and supposedly Kitana has a bio.
I also think we will get a new character (I hope). I reckon it will be this Damachi character or another slave/bodyguard of Onaga's. I also hope we get another returner from MK4 (Fujin or Reiko)
Kitana, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi would most probably be same as in MK:DA. Sareena would probably be given a combinaton of styles we've already seen from Li Mei/Ashra/Kira/Mileena/sindel, and the new ones be given the styles of non returning fighters from DA (eg mavado/Hsu Hao).
I'm sure Sektor will be in MK: D.
My guesses for te super unlockables are:
1: Sektor
2: Kitana
3: Quan Chi
4: Shang Tsung
5: Mavado
6: New

Why Mavado ?
What reason would they have for putting him in ?
He wasnt a fan Favourite. He wasnt that impressive a fighter. Kabal already has hookswords. He would add nothing to the game.

Why Mavado ?

Because Mavado kicks ass and is a major badass. Look at his story. He comes into the game and causes all kinds of chaos and screws over Kabal and the Special Forces. He aligns himself with another bad guywhilst having his own clan and sub ordinates to do his bidding.
They just messed up his gameply. In MKD, he'd have his chance to shine and he can have the Hookswords. Mavado is needed. His story is easily one of the best ones in MK and he plays a major part plotwise in terms of what he's doing and who he's after.
I agree that he will be a super unlockable.

Mavado blows imo.I think it will be 4 and no more than 4.my guesses are...

Im pretty sure sektor will.. I could care less about jax.. and mavado wont be in the game either i can gurnatee you that..... as for kitana and shang and quan chi.. they will most definatley be hidden

I don't know if i'm imaginating things but I believe that Boon said in one of is interview ( I think it was at Gamespot, not sure) that the cyborg nija would return in MK:D I think I heard about smoke, maybe we can get is cyborg form also but I'm pretty sure that he as mentionned Sektor, I don't know if I'm the only who seen that confused but it was when they first started to talk about the game, maybe they decided to have him as super unlockable and didn't talk about him anymore and hope that would forgot about what they said OR I'M JUST A CRAZY MAN confused

Sektor better be in it or I'll eat my hat...
Also, I want:
Sareena (hopefully not a klone of the other females)
Sektor (better not be a total klone of Cyrax)
Fujin (has potential)
Rain (every other ninja & Edenian are in the game)
Mavado (had budding storyline, but need to fix his styles, because they flat out sucked.

I'm gonna have to disagree. Mavado NEEDS to be in MKD. They need to continue the whole Red Dragon vs Black Dragon story. Although I would love to think that he's a super-unlockable, he was not mentioned in any way, shape, or form in Kira's bio.......

Your reasoning for Sektor is pretty good although hopefully he won't be exactly the same as Cyrax, considering Cyrax was meant to be the weakest MKDA fighter in many circles of opinion. The styles need tweaking obviously. I guess Sektors missiles will be more effective than Cyrax's bombs though.
To this day I think someone saw Darrius early on, like before his name was in the lifebar, assumed it was Jax and this has caused nothing but confusion and speculation ever since.

F*** Jax, He started out awesome and just progressed worse and worse. MK:DA....he looked horrible. Bring old school Jax back, I'm tired of metal arms!

First off, most of you need to just give up hope of Shang Tsung in Quan Chi being super unlockables or atleast just Shang Tsung because.. ***SPOILER*** ...he's already been konfirmed "Dead" for this game like Kano, so the only people I'm pretty sure of are Reptile, Sektor, Jax, Kitana and Sareena.

i think gamespot thought Darrius was jax. i dont think jax is the game...but anyways i think the superunlockables will be Sektor,Reptile mk2 and mk4 outfit,Sareena and a couple of others as well, perhaps fujin as well too.

I think that:
1. Kitana (pretty obvious which I'm happy abt.)
2. Quan Chi (he escapes the DK - I would say Shang Tsung as well but if Liu Kang's bio is correct then he died and I doubt we'll see him)
3. Seerena (too much of a new story to let go)
4. Jax (we've already seen him in Conquest Mode asking for a fight with Shujinko in his MKDA outfit
5. Sonya (her bio)
6. Goro (his bio - and rumored Shokan)
7. Kung Lao (I don't think he's dead)
8. Nitara (not off scott free yet)
Bonus Hidden:
9. Blaze (not finished his story line yet)
10. Sektor (he's in too deep)
