Quan looked better in MK4. His makeup was more visable, he looked way more evil and a lot scarier. He's just a skinny bitch in MK:DA.

Likewise I'm not too happy with Reptile's new look... It's not horrible or anything but I just think that if they wanted to make him look even more reptillian they should have made him look like a viscious velociraptor etc.. rather than a stupid-lookin'-iguana-thing.

I like Sub-Zero's new look... and Kano's... Cyrax w/out Helmet looks quite nice...

I like Quan Chi's new look, his old costume just looked stupid...

I prefer MK1 in general, because in the game, the characters wore NORMAL looking clothes! Not those FANCY, designer suits in MKII and beyond. Since when do shaolin monks where red pants with black stripes on the sides?

My only exception is Raiden in MKII.

They're all good... but the "new" looks in MKDA are probably the best overall. For instance, I've always been partial to MK2 Kitana. MK3 was OK... nice cleavage, but ehhhhhh, lacked something. MK Gold was decent, but her MKDA look is probably the only one which rivals her original. Reptile... I liked him more before, but he's certainly more original now. Raiden looks awesome with his new, long haired samurai thing... Quan Chi looks much less fruity... Shang Tsung doesn't wear suspenders anymore, which is good... Sonya, well, I'm partial to Kerri Hoskins myself, so I'd probably go for her MK3 look, but her second costume in MKDA is pretty cool... Sub-Zero looks great... etc etc

MK:DA Scorpion actually appears to me how a classic ninja should look.

Without a doubt MKDA has the best looks for both old and new characters, back in the day I was impressed with the MK2 looks but looking back at them now the ninjas had the same costume just in different colors, MK4 changed all of that but MKDA perfected it.

Everyone looked best in MK2, except for the Ninjas. I loved the way they looked in MK1.
