I do believe you might be right about certain things being unlocked after a certain date has passed. However, I'm almost possitive I unlocked my Shujinko alt during November of 47. I'm about 95% sure. I still think you are right about certain dates passing though.

Well, I'm going to see what happens with my second profile. With my first profile, I found it in that spot after trying there at the same time nearly every Tuesday up until then. If the same thing happens with the second profile (and so far it looks like it will, as of 11/6/47 it still isn't there).

Deadboy I posted about this earlier today, the idea of time locks and the Konquest mode being evolutionary as you progress through it and new things pop up as opposed to being finite where once you get everything, time is irrelevant. I think you're onto something. It would be sensible to compare notes with some of the less juvenile people on the boards here to see what you come up with.

There are a few of us that are advancing the clock in game as far as possible with a few of us stoping on certain dates (boon B-day, launch dates for the games and such) so we will see what comes out of it if anything.

I also spotted many unusual things as well ... the -1 coordinates at order realm, the A on the moon and the guy peeking out behind the rock on the loading screen of the neatherealm. The face on the moon in neatherrealm.. also like people said the color coded keys that no one knows what to do with yet.

First of all everywhere I have seen it says 3 not 3:30, although I have found that it appears around 2:30. Second I also found that it will not appear until after you have beaten Konquest mode and then go there.

Yes, I beat Konquest before trying to get it (I had all of Shujinko's other moves before looking for it).
And on my second profile, it showed up the second Tuesday in November, 47. So now I'm at a loss as to why it wasn't showing up previously... Is it only certain Tuesdays, or something? Beats me.

Do any of you have the krypt fully unlocked? I found an amazing site for helping me finish my last few... after I get them at work tomorrow I will begin my search and side quests....
I have so many quests in progress I am starting to forget them all. Had to start writing them all down, but I think I got all of them in Edenia so far...
Also, I have a few speculations for the whole Kung Lao "go after Shao Kahn" thing.... but I did not get the headband.
LAST THING, did any of you talk to someone in Earthrealm who said "if you want to be a champion, enter the MK tourney blah blah... seek the elder?" Because I went and talked with the elder, who told me "Although you have gained alot of knowledge about Kombat etc etc (basically talking about your trainings).... I still feel you need more knowledge"
Now obviously those are not direct quotes... but anyways what I am getting at, is that I can no longer find the elder. Now that I have beaten Konquest I have searched for him over the course of the last couple days here and there and I cant find him. I have trained as everyone I think... maybe not NoobSmoke though, but I am near positive everyone else.
I am wondering if you need all of Shujinko's extras (moves, fatals, etc) before you talk to him again?
Or do you need to train with every character in the game?

When I unlocked Shujinko's alt, it was called Shujinko's alternate 1. It's darker than his primary, and one of his sleeves is orange. Does any one have a different alt?

I think the person you are referring to is Wen, correct. If that is the case, he has been murdered, along with Shen. When training (or after training, can't remember) with Kung Lao, he speaks of that to Shujinko.

In response to Tetra Vega, my Shujinko alt has him bald with one short sleeved arm and the other long sleeved.
I'm hoping that as time progresses, there will be some opportunity to fight Shao or have him killed, but I'm unsure. I'm fairly certain that there are more players that can be unlocked than the select screen suggests.

I would also like to add something.
There has been a trainer released to play as the original characters (Kitana, Nitara, Drahmin... etc) and they say if a fatality or stage fatality is done it crashes, which means they were not meant to be in the game, correct?
WELL REGARDLESS, have any of you fought the following "cracked playable characters?"

Drahmin
I have never had a battle against any of them. Possibly another hint for us, meaning there are missions or at least battles we haven't done yet?
