Well judging from the fact that Kenshi set Ermac free from Kahn(or tsung)'s mind control I'd say he's there to help Kenshi.

Good point but there is the fact that Deception will probably come from somebody who is a previous ally, Ermac was an enemy I believe. It may be some dude in the form of Liu Kang or something of that.

I don't hate Ermac, I think he's really cool.

Question, when was Kenshi ever involved with Ermac. Deadly Alliance NEVER mentioned or even hinted anything between them two just because they have the same powers.

In Kenshi's Konquest it mentions that Kenshi helped free Ermac, so Ermac taught Kenshi telekinesis.

I don't think Ermac would help someone like Kenshi just for the sake of it. Let's look at some points.

-Ermac was freed by Kenshi, would he just teach Kenshi everything about telekinesis, what if Kenshi was hired to kill Ermac, it wouldn't be safe.

-Kenshi might have told Ermac of his quest for his ancestor's souls, all of who I think are warriors. Remember what Ermac is? I don't think Kenshi would recognize Ermac as an enimga of souls.

-Ermac would probably know that Shang Tsung possesses soul stealing abilities.

-I'm not sure if Ermac can add souls to him to increase his powers, but if he could, leading Kenshi to killing Tsung could only benefeit Ermac.

Adding up those seems to point to Ermac killing Kenshi and claiming all the souls as his own, allowing him to reach new levels of power.

Another left field idea.. Possibly some of the souls that make up ermac were from Kenshi's ancestorial line... thus maybe bringing a closer connection between the two.

I think Ermac will kill Kenshi in the opening video.

I think that Ermac will help out Kenshi, i dont reakon he will stab him in the back. However, for whatever reason they are involved in a fight; Ermac will destroy Kenshi with ease, Ermac only taught Kenshi the basics of telekinesis. Ermac's ending would be cool if it had them either fighting to the death, or prooving they have got each others back

I love the idea of some of Ermac's souls being Kenshi's ancestors. It makes you wonder if that is how Ermac was formed, by the souls of Kenshi's ancestors?

I'm doubtful that Ermac is composed of Kenshi's ancestors.

Most likely, Shang, who stole the souls, would use them more directly--I think he'd use them himself rather than make something else with them--and risk revolt, although it'd be fairly interesting, and may be (in a very farfetched way) why Ermac trained Kenshi.

Ermac is awesome, I want to see him on the evil side! I hope he betrays Kenshi, but them as an alliance would be cool too, so either way works.

I think that neither of them will turn on each other. But if there was one to turn, it would be Kenshi, because Ermac taught him what he knows. Even though Kenshi freed him, still Ermac is the reason why Kenshi can still defend himself. However, if they were to get into a fight, heres what I think. Ermac has two advantages over Kenshi, 1) he more than likely did not teach Kenshi all he knew, thus giving him a wider range of attacks, and 2) Kenshi is blind. Now don't get me wrong, Kenshi could still kick my ass, but Ermac taught him, and can see him, it just serves as a slight advantage because he will know Kenshi's moves.

I like Ermac because he looks cool, And had awesome special abilities in UMK3 & MKT. Not to mention that the idea of being made up of a legion of souls sounds very interesting.

And i'd like to see Ermac as the good guy, Or at least neutral.

Are you people on crack!! Ermac did not, i repeat did not teach Kenshi Telekinesis. Ermac may have helped him to focus his power better by showing him the Tele-slam. but that is as far as it goes. Kenshi was endowed with telekinesis after he came in contact with the sword of his ansestors. read you konquest again.
