Honestly, to tell you the truth, I would like to see if they would have Raiden remain evil in the next game.

When my brother, who's also a huge MK fan like me, played Deception and saw what they did to Raiden, he was shocked to see that they made him evil. It was a huge shocker that they made Raiden turn evil.

And I know that they shouldn't do this to every single good guy or bad guy change alignments, but there should be a shocking moment in every character that's been around a while sometime.

But getting back, I would like to see him remain evil for a good duration of Mortal Kombat. Have him team up with the villains, and let's see where that takes us with this guy.

It's not gonig to hurt anyone will it? No.

I wasn't too fond of Raiden's ending lol, and I like him a lot. They gave him a "Superman without a Yellow Sun" like ending yet he's an immortal God, come on lol. Be Quan Chi's bitch and do his bidding or reject his help and be powerless....lol

But as far as the next MK game post MKA, I think Raiden should be good again I hope Fujin will help bring him back to his old self. Dark Raiden is badass but it's not "the Real Raiden" if you know what I mean. I kind of miss light Raiden who was also badass in his own way.

Evil Raiden isn't a new thing.

Remember MK1?

He was darker more pre-MK1, but not as dark(evil) as he currently is. Using undead Liu Kang to do his dirty work...lol

Eh, I dissagree. Dark Raiden IMO was the best thing to happen to the charactar in years. Plus, just having Raiden become totally good instead of a wildcard would require one hell of an explaination. With the current state of the MK storyline, I think there's bigger fish to fry then Dark Raiden.

Dark Raiden is alright, but it's not the Raiden-Raiden we all know and loved thru out the years.

The Raiden now is along the lines of Vigilante/Evil Raiden.

I'm actually very happy though that Fujin is the current Protector of EarthRealm. He's not corrupted or ever was.
