I've trained under every possible character besides Kobra... is it possible to train with him?

Yes it is possible, I have trained with him. He is somewhere in Chaosrealm. Sorry, I don't know the exact coordinates.

yes hes in the choasrealm ruins
you cant get their till after you beat conquest though
hes all the way to the east of them don't know the cords
