IS Kabal Official? When did he get CONFIRMED?

exactly who confirmed him, where did he get confirmed? and lastly is KABAL in the actual fighting game for sure?

I believe he was confirmed in either EGM or Game Informer. But it WAS in a legitimate magazine, that i know for certain.

Im pretty sure they confirmed Kabal a while back. But now with this new info im not so sure. They stated that he will "be in Konquest Mode", so does that mean as a playable character or playing a role in the story and hes not playable
