From everyting I've heard, yes he is confirmed. Thought we haven't seen anything of him yet, but the same is true for Kabal and he's confirmed...maybe soon there will be other releases.

Yeah, he was confirmed in a Game Informer Interview by one of the developers. Although despite what a lot of people have claimed, there are no pics of him revealed yet.

is there somekind of list that says when ppl r allowed 2 ask whether smoke is in deception or not? it seems every 2 weeks a different n00b asks the same question

I think that Smoke is confirmed, but like Liu Kang, Tanya abnd Kabal, we havent seen any images yet. But I wish he wasn't confirmed, I dont like Smoke at all. Human form seemed like Scorpion and Cyborg form sucked. But hey, Im not a developer. If the remake his moves then I suppose he'd be ok/

Sure Smoke had some of other characters moves, but his story was alot better than most of the other characters. His story was getting good and then he just disappears. I want to know where he has been and what he is up to.
