Hey,
I am interested in getting the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat Armageddon. I have been having a hard time finding it. I think my best bet is to buy it online. I have found the regular version of MKA at a few stores, but I really want toe Premium edition. Do you think it is worth it to track down the premium edition or should I just grab the regular version. I own the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat Deception already. Any info you have on how much different the bonus disc for MKA , and if it is worth getting would be appreciated.

Thanks

They still sell it?confused

Anyways if you want MKA with UMK3 and a stupid animation cell "signed" by Ed Boon then yeah go for it.

I believe the "cell" you're talking about was only given out if you pre-ordered MKA. I'm also pretty sure it wasn't signed, either. Regardless, it's not even worth it. It's just an image of the MKA roster with a peice of clear plasitc over it.

Actually you get a cell if you buy it in stores and it is signed. But it is worth it if you want to watch the trading card videos and the history of fatalities. As well you get umk3 with it.

Yes, it is very well worth it, especially when you want to take a trip down memory lane with the Arcade Port of "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3", which is installed in the product. It also comes with a second disk containing a boat-load of MK Trading cards, and the "Mortal Kombat: History" video.

I went through hell and high-water to get the Mortal Kombat: Armageddon - Premium Edition on the very first day of it's release in my state (Georgia), including driving a overheated Lincoln with an expired temporary tag. I lost it recently in June, and I myself am wondering if I can still find a copy of the Premium Addition of Armageddon. I have the regular copy now to tide me over until I can find it.

Yes it is signed. Boon didn't literally sign EVERY single copy ever made (I hope). His signature was just copied and pasted on every animation cell.

I was expecting a lot more out of the Premium Edition.

The extra disc isn't really much. The History of Fatalities Video is short, and the extra bios are decent. They don't reveal anything we didn't already know.

UMK3 is a bonus too if you're a big fan of the game, and don't want the crap version that was on MAT.

I'm sure you could find it really cheap somewhere though. I saw left over Premium Editions in BestBuy one time that were $19.99.

So if you find one, I'd go ahead and get it.

most of the bios on the premium edition are just rehashed from deception except for the new characters and many if not all of the videos from it can be found on youtube or on midways's mk site etc. the only real bonus is the umk3 and the collector case. but the collector case isn't wise to keep your game disc in cuz it holds them tight and they become easier to break pulling them in and out. and honestly...if you have a 360 then don't bother and just use your money and get umk3 for it. you can play it online with way more replay value and it can be upscaled to hi definition whilst the ps2 version can't. the collector's case is cool though and you do get a lot for your money. the collector's disc though is just a straight up DVD and not an actual game disc.
