Is the release date still Oct. 4??

I don't want to start any rumors, but is the release date still Oct. 4? The October issue of PSM magazine had a brief (very brief) preview of MKD, and listed the release date as Oct. 11 . . . ?? Is this official information listed anywhere? While I would hate for the release to be pushed back, if it will give them time to make the game better, that it good . . .

Actually, the EB near my house still has a date of October 5th. I know Boon sead it would be the 4th, so I'm hoping their date is wrong.

They are saying the 5th to be on the safe side.With games high in demand they usually get them the day it ships but say the next day to be safe.Usually shipments come in from anywhere from 9 am till a bit after lunch.I'm sure you will have it on the 4th.

actually the game may be out on shelves october 1st. It all depends when stores get them. For example... MK Deadly Alliance's release date was November 22, 2002. But Many people were able to get it at certain stores on the 19th (I got mine the 20th at gamestop). So I guess it all depends if a store gets it early and wants to sell it before the big release date.

Most ppl who work at stores r idots and dont know what they r talking about. I remember when i called a store and they said they had Tomb Raider:aod and when i got there i couldnt find it and they told me it wasnt out. I trust Boon so im going with the 4th

My Wal-Mart has the date as the 7th. Of course, they told me I can't preorder deception yet, because they're only allowed to preorder one game at a time, which is bullshit, and if I don't get my premium pack/kollector's edition I'll be pissed furious

It's probably the 4th, since it's a monday. They'll probably shooting for another "Mortal Monday." Although, tuesday could be "Deathtrap Tuesday!!!"

Mortal Monday would be cool but Deathtrap Tuesday is stupid i think that Tubbi Tuesday sounds better, lol Jk. I just hope at 10 in the morning when im at walmart on the 4th they have the dame game. Im staying homee from school and everything iv been planing for this for along time.

I'd be real surprised if anyone had it at 10 AM on the 4th. Though they might ship the games out to stores the previous week if they start heavily advertising the 4th as the release date.

I know the UPS guy usually arrives between 11:00am and 1:00pm at the EB I usually go to. I took both the 4th and the 5th off from work, so either way I'm hoping I get at least one full day with the game.

Hehe...I'm glad I'm not the only one who made sure they had the 5th off work. grin I actually planned my vacation for the following week way back when the release date was October 11th. Anyway, the ideal situation for me would be to get off work at 5 on the 4th and go right to EB to pick up MK:D. wink

I'm betting on the 4th.

Usually I would bet on the 3rd - a day early, but because the 4th lands on a Monday instead of a Tuesday (the day most New Releases come out in-stores - cd's, DVD's, video games ), I'm going to stick with Monday, Oct. 4th.

Ha I beat you by 2 hours. I get out of school at 3 Yes I am only 14 ain't that a kick. Man I preordered it so they better hand it over.

At the EB Games store near me...their release date of MK:D is also Oct.5th Are all EB Games stores gonna release it oct.5th? Not that it matters to much to me, but i was just curious.

I already preordered the special edition of mk. They said it would be there on october 5. Anyways I'll ask again next time I go to the Gamestop to make sure. I could have sworn it was the fourth.
