it has to be cuz in the psm mag it said mkd takes place exactly rite after the mkda..soo how can sub (wit scar) grow that much hair in a short period of time?!..
ur answer = its the orginal sub
n plus he dont have the scar

damn im good..lol anyone want to prove me wrong please bring it!!

right after? i thought it said after..can be days, months..just that is follows the events of mkda

or the DM is making him age faster..so maybe his hair grows faster since hair grows faster with time..he lost the hair on his head with time..why cant he grow a pony tail with time?

the scar might not be added yet. its just a small dash over his eye and wasn't in the MKDA koncept art either.

so i believe it has been brung

From the first pics, I've been thinking it's the original sub too. Not only for those reasons mentioned in the first post, but to me the armor seems to resemnle Scorpion's quite a bit. Netherealm Armor anyone?

I believe old Sub is filling in while younger sub is back healing Frost.

that doesnt mean it isnt the orginal Sub-Zero if you watch Sub's ending he has to take care of Frost so his brother could have come back even though assumed dead

I too think that it the orginal Sub-zero.Either that or the DM is making him age. I mean he is completely grey in his alt.costume!! The other fighters aren't even close to being that old.And the sub-zero in MKDA was supposed to be the younger brother!!!! He probably isn't even supposed in his mid 30s yet. So its either got to be the original iceman or the work of the dragon med. witch if he keeps on, by mk7 he will be dead from a heart attack or old age.

for god's sake...its the SAME sub-zero. Yeah, Boon says the story picks up right from where DA left off...but that could be ANY amount of time from after the game ends. The story element picks up immediately after, but do the in-game events take place after? I doubt it. The only thing I think is stupid is how old they made Sub-Zero look in DA...he's probably in his early to mid 40's, and he looks like he's pushing 70. I would only hope that they have some explanations for us.

It's the younger Sub-Zero. Scorpion personally killed the original Sub-Zero, And Scorpion doesn't make mistakes.

Besides. If you look at Sub-Zero in MK:DA, You'll see that the Dragon Medallion made his ice powers greater and appearently started causing Sub-Zero's body to freeze over, Starting with his arms. And in that "Samurai" pic of Sub-Zero, You'll see that his body in completely frozen. (and why would his scar show if it's covered in ice?)

i got a revelation, its the original subzero but the one with the scar is in it as well, i remember hearing an idea for da was to bring back the o.g subzero as a spectre like scorpion...why? cus o.g subzero was killed and quan chi needs someone to protect him from scorpion, i mean quan chi obviously lost the oni, and needs a new body guard, so i believe that o.g subzero is in it,thats who i think we see with the ponytail and no scar and netherteal type armor, but its just a wild theory.

doesnt matter...scorpion was also killed by sub-zero before..is he still gone??

i think it is original sub 2.... although boon sayed the fighter with the ponytail is sub... he never said which1, plus boon has been bring bak alot of the characters ppl hav been asking 4 and i remember that alot of ppl were asking 4 original sub, mabye both r in the game

I agree that this is the younger Sub-Zero. Remmember that right after he leaves Frost in the Lin Kuei temple to recover from the DM Rayden comes and not only congratulates him, but he also asks for his help again. The DM might be making him age faster so that it will increase his power. It probably will kill him at some point, but it might also ressurect him with greater powers and a younger body.

I personally think it is the younger Sub-Zero. There is really no real proof other than speculation as to why it is the original. He doesn't have a scar? Neither did early pictures of Sub from Deadly Alliance, apparently. What he's older? In MK3 he was about 28, and then in MK5 about 55, meanwhile Sonya Blade isn't ageing.

I really don't think there's any evidence to support the original returning.
