... it would never happen. I know this has been talked about since the early mid 90's, but I've been thinking about it, and it would be really cool if there was a Mortal Kombat Vs. Street Fighter. The only reason I bring it up is because of the collaborations between Capcom and SNK, thus not puttin' the idea totally out of the realm of possability. If it were to be done, they should do it as the Capcom/SNK games are being handled, each company makes their own game for the series. Mortal Kombat Vs. Street Fighter (by Midway) would be a 3D fighter using the MK game engine and having a darker atmosphere, with fatalities and such. Street Fighter Vs. Mortal Kombat (by Capcom) would be a 2D fighter using the SF game engine with hand drawn characters (For the love of God, some new sprites.) and supers, etc. Not only would it be interesting to see what each company would do w/ the other's characters, but we (i.e. fighting game enthusiasts) could use something new and I'm sure the game will sell very well, helping out both companies who, last I heard, were having some financial problems. Unfortunately, this doesnt seem like it will ever happen, and if so, wouldn't happen until after MK6 at the earliest I would think. Any comments, suggestions, etc?

Also, if Boon came to you right now and asked what the playable character list of MK6 would be, excluding new characters, what 12 characters would you pick?

The Capcom and SNK fighters can actually go together in a V.S. fighting game, but Mortal Kombat is uncompatible with ANY of the Capcom, Street Fighter, SNK fighters ect...

Mortal Kombat is in a league of it's own. It's too dark of a game to be put together with characters from Street Fighter or Capcom. Even if you used the MK:DA fighting engine, it still would not look right.

Mortal Kombat needs to stay by itself and NEVER get cought up in something like that.
