It would not be cool if Reptile is the Dragon King

The first time I heard this mentioned (hav'nt played the game, yet) as a potential story, I actually thought it was a joke (not a very funny one). Now, I'm not knocking anyone for liking the "Reptile is the Dragon King" scenario. I just don't understand how anyone can find it interesting. I, personally think it's unoriginal, and actually sounds like something my little 9 year old causin would come up with, as a story.

Do I stand alone?

Not alone! Besides I would be so confused if I should refer to him as Reptile or the Dragon King, I would want to say Reptile but it would be the Dragon King I suppose. No Reptile=Dragon King. Besides everyone assumes too much from Reptile's ending, perhaps the only way for the Dragon King to return is for a raptor to be the Lava Shrine.

I agree...its pretty fuckin stupid, plus I don't think the dragon thing really fits reptile; Reptile is more of a mutated lizard/dinosaur man, which in my mind is much different from a dragon. For example, a dragon breathes fire, and if the Dragon King had a projectile it would most likely be fire; I like Reptile's acid spit, it just fits him, and it's a part of his character. A dragon spitting acid wouldnt work.

Well, in a good perspective, they haven't actually said he was Dragon King. The legend said that, when the Last Dragon would awake, the Dragon King would be brought back to life. And since the Last Dragon awoke, into Reptile's body, that would mean the Dragon King was also back. Also being the operative word, as in Reptile=/=Dragon King. smile

The same thing I've been thinking. It just does'nt fit Reptile. He is to simple of a character, anyway, to take on the form of a King.
