Jerrod / Outworlds-Edenian history?

Well...the Dragon king is recognized as the "true" ruler of Outworld...


so...we know this about the Outworld/Edenia situation...Kitana was adopted by Shao Kahn...who killed Jerrod...did Jerrod dethrone the Dragon King...since it is obviously implied that the Dragon King ruled Edenia/Outworld before Jerrod and Shao Kahn....or was the Dragon King generations before Jerrod?

Someone had to overthrow Onaga at some point in Outworlds history?

Someone already started a thread about Jerrod possibly being an "unlockable"...which I highly doubt...but I just think it'd be interesting if there's ANYTHING else known about Outworlds history...and/or timeline.

Anyone else have any info? or theories?

Onaga rules Outworld
Jerrod rules Edenia

Outworld is a collection of realms.
During Onaga's time, Jerrod wasn't even born and Edenia wasn't part of Outworld.
Ok, that may all be true...but still, at some point in time, someone had to overtake Onaga, would like to know who that was/is....and if they're still around.

Dying of natural causes? I think that would make history in Mortal Kombat...I don't think anyone, in any mortal kombat realm has ever died of natural causes....he's the Dragon King, that's too boring, someone had to of either betrayed him, or killed him....either way, I can't wait until we find out more about this character.

I don't think they said how the Dragon King originally died.
Maybe it was Shao Kahn. Maybe that's why the Dragon King was only to return now, after Kahn is apparently dead.
that would be another cool possible plot direction.


Alot of people have come up with the theory that maybe Shang Tsung is alive, and brought Kang back to help them defeat the Dragon King...but is Kang really more powerful than Raiden,Quan Chi, AND Shang?

Shao Kahn...now if he were the one that had originally dethroned the Dragon King...that'd be pretty cool...and would give the Deadly Alliance, along with Earth realm, to beg for Kahns return/revival.
