i dont know about ermac, but i like rain. he controlled the weather or whatever... but he should be given a complete new badass look if he is to be back in mk6. he has potential (with an actual storyline).

with some tweaking, they can both have it, like how forst and sub-zero both control ice, but differently

and with the way the game should place, hand to hand and weapons will be more important, and that will make the characters different, like in the old mortal kombats ,it was special moves and appearance that made them different

now it is their fighting styles

actually i like rain cuz his story s really good, ermac dont have a very good story but he just looks cool

Ermac never really had much of a story, and I don't think he was given a fair chance. It would be stupid not to use him.

I always thought Ermac just looked cool. Kenshi looks alright, but nowhere near as cool as Ermac.

Also, bring back Stryker.

If Rain or Ermac ever come back, they shouldn't be just ninjas. In the old MKs, there were not many options on how to make a character look totally new or orignal. With 3D, things have changed. Sub-Zero and Scorpion both had their ninja-like costumes in MKDA, yet looked nothing alike. Ermac should keep the suit, of course give it a twist. Maybe souls could be seen orbiting around him, (i.e. Drahmin's flies). As for Rain, he should be totally revamped. Like many have said, he has great potential, just needs a new look in my opinion. As far as similarity in moves go, the addition of fighting styles has elimnated that. Just give Rain different weather controling capabilites, and like was said earlier, alter Ermac's telokentic powers from Kenshi's.

I do not know what you are talking bout.Ermac was a collection of lost souls from Shao, that is a great story, then they made him even deeper by putting him in Kenshis ending. I think he is a great character........give him a new look with and without a new mask and he will be awesome.

Rain shouldnt be able to control weather, he should control rain and water stuffs, that would rule, coz if he controls weather he controls wind/thunder/snow and we already have had chars with these powers.

yes rain definatly has storyline potential, but ermac's story is mad weak i think hes gone because i prefer kenshi myself

yea rain should be unmasked and go off his story about him being edenian and he should fight with kitana and help out the other good guys

his alt should be his ninja suit but i think they should say he scrapped it because it showed what he wore when he worked for kahn
