A detail I thought was cool is that, when you unlock Shujinko's spear, he wears it around his waist, like Scorpion does.

ok I just noticed that I just spelled evil as evel but that's not the point I've another question. And that's as to where exactly yin yang island is in the mortal kombat universe? My thought was that it is somehow in between realms in a way...earthrealm and outworld perhaps...but then I'm confronted by the idea that outworld is not really evil it's just who rules it....am I wrong.....or what are you guy's thoughts

I think its in Earthrealm because theres a beach and if you look out to the ocean you'll see an island , but it might not be yin yang island.

Actually you're right. The story of Yin Yang Island being the way it is is because it is located right on the border of Earthrealm and Netherrealm, or Outworld, one of those. Half of the island is in one realm, half in the other, if I'm recalling correctly.

Read it's description in Kontent, Arenas. It tells you it's trapped between Earth, and Outworld.
