I used to love playing as Kabal. He has the potential to look totally kickass in Deception. He has to keep his mask on though for all his alt. costumes. Otherwise that would take away one of his fatalities. As goofy and humerous as it was, it can be done in a serious way, or have some twists to it. Someone posted some links to some drawings a guy did with MK fatalities, and one was Kabals Hell Face.

In the picture he grabbed his opponent (Quan Chi) had his mask off, and the opponent helpless just... died. You saw his spirit beginig to fly up in the drawing. It wasnt the stupid shrek and then your body drops as your soul runs away. You can make the opponent have a heart attack, they can clench their chest, start vomiting blood, suffocating, make it real nasty.
As for the story, of course id have to revolve around Mavado. Perhaps Kabal, the loner and Nomad he is (if hes brought back and still alive), could be responsible for taking out the Red Dragon. But what weapons would Kabal use for his 3rd stance, being that Mavado took his hookswords...

Kabal shouldn't return. Mavado killed him. I'm not sure if they had that in Deadly Alliance word for word, but I think the MK Team brought in Mavado and took a lower character's weapons to sort of make peopl go, "Cool. Mavado killed Kabal.". Instead we have people wishing Kabal would come back and kill Mavado. There's nothing wrong with wishing that, but storyline wise that would kill a large part of Mortal Kombat.

They are all the people, storyline wise, going after the one or two Red Dragon members. The ones with stars next to them are high probabilities, but not really confirmed. Adding Kabal to that would tip the scales too far. Not to mention the whole novelty of Kabal was the hookswords. He isn't going to be killing Mavado and getting them back.

I would just like to point out that even Shao Kahns destructive forces thought they had killed kabal. Motaro and every one else couldnt do it, I find it hard to believe that Mavado actually Killed him. I think it would be totally freakin awesome if Kabal returned to reclaim his swords and just hacked mavado to pieces with them

I agree to that, death and the word "dead" dont mean much in the MK Universe, you should know that. I agree they should change that but hey, shit happens.

I thought Mavado sucked. I'd take Kabal over him anyday.

He iz a survivor! - it would be poetic justice for him to come back & eventually take out Mavado with them Hookswordz. Mavado deserves it after yankin' them.

yes definitly bring kabal back. i dont know why he wasnt in mk 4 and mkda.......i mean almost everyone likes him and he was a completely different character which made him very cool and interesting. i hope he is playable in mkd but at least we will get to c him in konquest mode.

Bring Kabal back period. He was just to awesome in my opinion. Since he fights against crime now, it would be cool to see him join forces with the special forces or kung lao and them. I would want to see him try to hunt down each red dragon member and kick there sorry lil asses. I would also like to see him give mavado a bloody face make-over for stealing his hookswords.

I hope kabal returns, if not in mk6, the future. Hopefully they can find a way to bring him back. They did with goro and alot others, why not Kabal?

When I first read that Mavado, that freak, defeated KABAL, I was laughing a lot. Then I felt sad about another stupid thing in Mortal Kombat. I mean, how could this looser kill Kabal??? ........Well, Kabal should be returning anyway, and with his hooks. I'll be very dissapointed, if Kabal is not in MKD.

He is one of my favorite characters in all of the MK series. He deserves another appearance!

Like I've said many times before in the many threads about Kabal, his Tornado Spin is one of the most spectacular special moves in any of the MK games.

And give Kabal his hookswords back! Only Kabal knows how to truly use them!

I would love to see Kabal back. Has anyone else seen the old concept art of him (named Sandman) with two buzz saws on tonfa handles as weapons? I think they'd be a cool new weapon, and then Mavado can keep the hookswords.

I guess i'm one of the only ones who like Movado, but I hate the fact that he defeated, not killed, Kabal. Kabal must return. He is one of the best characters in MK history in my opinion. I loved the Hell Face Fatality. That's my second favorite Fatality of all time. Bring back Kabal.

Bring both Kabal and Mavado back, and let them fight it out. I'm another big Mavado fan, he's easily my favourite of MKDA's newbies, and one of my best in the series.

well his always played a big role in almost every game his benn in so i think kabal is gonna go for the red dragon clan first kill mavado to get his hookswords back then kill hsu hao because theyre target is sub-zero so then kabal is going to join the forces of good again and help defeat the dragon king
