Kabal's move nomad's touch in the new interview video?

In the new interview video with Ed Boon there is a fight in the molten press stage between Kabal and Ashrah. Kabal jumps over her and his hands go blue. All of a sudden they just smash into each other and both get knocked down. Is this the nomad's touch move we have seen in one of the other videos (in text) in Kabal's move list?

They should change his hand glow to purple and not blue. Just like they changed his flash dash (whatever it is called) from green to purple.
