Kanos combo challenge makes no sense

Right off the bat, the first challenge is

Jump+attack 3, cannonball juggle. After doing the combo roughly 30 times, I gave up, since it will not register me doing the move. Silly me, I thought it was just a kick + cannonball to juggle in the air. Not sure what's up with this one, or what I'm doing wrong.

also, challenge 5

You're somehow supposed to do his arm grab parry as a juggle, but it simply will not work. I've done every part of the move, but when it comes time to hit d,b+attack 2, the opponent is in the air, and all Kano does is the miss animation.

Make sure you do the air cannonball not the ground one, same goes for Catwoman, Batman and Lex whom have similar jumping attack+air Special move combo.

I've done both the air and ground ones, and it won't give the "success" message.

Ok, mr. smartguy.

After 4 more attempts, the game reset and gave me Darkseid's combo achievement.

I guess that's not a glitch, huh? Read before you reply. I performed the combos, and they would not unlock. The game is glitching.

Ok...for the third time...

I did the combos. The game wasn't registering the fact I did them.

Ok, how would you like the community to respond to this glitch comment? Are you asking for help? Are you looking to share the misery with others who have had this problem? Are you looking for news about a patch?

Nearly every comment has had a negative reply. What was the point of this thread?

It would be nice to know if maybe anyone else had these problems, as opposed to replying in such a condescending and/or sarcastic nature.

Anyhoo. I'm gonna try and uninstall tomorrow (well, technically later today) to see if that's the issue. I've noticed a lot of hanging on the NXE blade menu in-game, and a lot of music loops and/or cuts out completely.

Hopefully, that will resolve the issue.

Also, oddly enough, the glitch achievement I got showed Darkseid's combo challenge being unlocked, but my gamerscore shows Shao Kahn's being the one unlocked...go figure.

Well, I have the 360 version, not sure if that makes any difference. I have mine installed too, although there isn't much improvement in loading speed that I've noticed, rather, the drive is quiet which I like.

I've had problems like this, but it sorts itself out when i exit and restart MKDCU (360). I don't know why glitches like these occur, but I'm not at all surprised. At tiems it feels like the game is held together with tape and bubblegum

I ran a glitch with the special moves trophy. I know for a fact I hadn't done all the special moves at the point I received the trophy. I was fighting as Superman (I had done all of his) and while punching I received the message I'd unlocked the trophy for all special moves. The thing is, I know I hadn't done Lui Kang's FF 1, FF 2 promove at the time.

Also the Joker gave me credit for a few of the challenges before I beat them legit. so far no glitches on not receiving trophies for achievements I actually did.

It's all in the timing. When u see the white dot appears next to your opponent you must quickly enter the command.
