Alright listen up closely, If you've played Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, you'll know what I'm talking about, Whenever you're on the "SELECT FIGHTER SCREEN" and you choose Kenshi, you'll notice he's got a Red Dragon symbol on his banner that goes from his shoulder down across to his waist. Also notice where it says "ALIGNMENT" on Kenshi's it says "UNKNOWN". If my theory is right, (which I am sure it is) then Kenshi is the reason why Mortal Kombat 6 is called Mortal Kombat Deception!! If you're an idiot and still don't get it, and you need me to spell it out loud for you, KENSHI IS A RED DRAGON MEMBER!!!!

Thats an intresting point I never really noticed it. So what your saying is Kenshi has infiltrated the Special Forces and pick them off one by one since he has there trust. But if you remember Kenshi was found with "hook like woonds." But maybe that was part of the deception right. Ha neva thought of that good find man!! :)

About the "hooklike sword wounds" have you ever come to think that it was Kabal and not Mavado that wounded Kenshi, cause maybe Kabal is the only one aware that Kenshi is a spy from the Red Dragon Clan, Kenshi's ending never confirmed it was Mavado who wounded him....

I've never noticed the Red Dragon symbol. Excellent observation!

An even better observation! Holy shit, ShaoKahn07. You're a slick one, that you are. I would've never in a million years thought of that.

Maybe Kenshi was a former member of the Red Dragon, but he betrayed Mavado, and Mavado attacked him. And Kenshi just never changes clothes.

...Wow nice obsevations of Kenshi. But I would have thought that if kenshi was a clan member..he would have lazer eyes to replace his other ones....wait a second..Kabals mask had eye-like vision pieces on it so he could see...mabey Kenshi is Kabal and he got hit in the head or something and Lost his memory! Yes! and about the hook-like wounds? Kabal/Kenshi was very plastered that night. But Kabal is black dragon...right? Mabey he sold himself out to the red dragon.

Very good point ShaoKahnO7. Who knows, maybe more then one person will fit with the whole deception title.

I was thinking that Baraka and Mileena play a role in it and Kenshi could also along with who else knows.

I like the theory.....maybe hes the one that gets rid of Sonya and Jax is gonna be after him.....maybe hes replacing Kano. And as for the wounds, maybe the way to get into the red dragon was to kill someone and maybe Kabal knew wat he was going to do so Kabal attacked Kenshi, but Kenshi killed him and gave the hooks to mavado as proof of his loyalty to the red dragon.....wow, its a good theory and it all fits!

not to be very rude or anything, but NO SHIT more then one person will be the deception in the new mk. If your gonna bother to argue, just let me strike down one thing. Theres been deception in nearly every mk game. So obviously there will be a lot of side switching in this new game.

Shao, that was a great theory... here's my take: Kenshi could possibly be a Red Dragon member, but i believe there will be a lot more deception in... uh... Deception.

If you look at previous games, deception has always been a key story element, and there is usually quite a few occasions of betrayal. Kenshi's could be one of many deceptions.

Also, look at the French title change (goofy as it may be). The renaming of Deception to Mystification suggests that either the theme of deception is not as important as we all think, or that the deception is from a character who is mystical.

One moooore thing, while everyone is looking for a deception on the side of good, did it ever occur that maybe an evil character decieves their side? Just a thought, seeing as they backstab eachother on a regular basis.

Are you slow or something? I'm mostly speaking about that first part of your post. That part just seems very ignorant.
You do know most people think one main thing will be the deception right? That's why I said I think a couple certain people/events will be the deception.

Simply put, I didn't state the obvious since many are thinking different and when talking about the whole deception thing. Also while many MK games had deception in them, none of them were name MKDeception, which is why many people and myself included are thinking it's going to be a bigger concept this time.

If anybody is stating the obvious, it's you.

here were the main deceptions in MK:DA

Shang Tsung and Quan chi(shung tsung tries to get the amulet and fails)

Nitara and Reptile( she is decepting him and Cyrax)

Nitara and Cyrax^

Tsu Hao and Outworld Investigation Agency(he was the spy)

Frost and Subzero( frost wanted to be grand master)

and there may be a few others.

Who cares? These are all obvious and none of them have to do with deception. As for the Kenshi theory, I like it. Although this theory is a longshot, it may explain why Ermac helped Kenshi out. I mean, I never though Ermac was really a good guy.

yea and like i said earlier, Kenshi probably fought Kabal and left him in critcal condition and took his hooks and gave them to mavado so that he can be apart of the red dragon....

I like this theory.
However, Movado himself had a personal vendetta against Kenshi. That's why he joined the Mortal Kombat, to X Kenshi. So there might be a possibility of Kenshi being a covert Red Dragon spy, but he could also where the banner as a sign of hatred for the Red Dragon.
I think that Kenshi possibly was an agent for the Red Dragon, but that might have been a while back. So, maybe in their caln nobody leaves, aboviously Kenshi did, which sets the whole thing between him in Movado in motion.

holy smoke, this is a great theory about kenshi, it would be really cool. This may be a longshot but do you think this is connected somehow why he changes one of his fighting styles in deception?? In MK:DA he had San Shou as a secondary fighting style, in deception he has Judo(at least in the e3 version). The funny thing is that Jax had the judo style in mk:da, if the theory is right maybe kenshi killed jax and "stole" his style somehow??

I dont know, but it would cool what do you think??

Well believe what you want, but I'm willing to bet that my theory is the best one, but that's just my opinion, but who knows. I may be wrong about the whole Red Dragon/ Kenshi misunderstanding
