you can't get back in that door.
I wanted too, because I saw a music icon and a chest right before I left, but I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to get back in.

Then go back to the far west where the door to the village is (the huge door which is now locked). Right in front of it should be a chest...open it and see what's inside :) it's Kenshi's alternative outfit.
