i never found any keys just lying around. only from time sensitive chests. i guess i have to explore more.

oh i just thought of something, probably not true but... I haven't done it yet myself but after you awaken koshal or whatever, isn't there a portal there(i saw it in the picture with the lava spewing skulls)? it may take you to a place where you can use the key. I think you have to use the key though

I don't think any of the guides have a thorough overview of Konquest. Just the way Boon and Midway wanted it.

ok i think i have found out where the key goes....
in earthrealm go to a little houses where there are a lot of locked doors but the one on the far left is unlocked after i got the key and in there is scorpion and he says "o no, some1 has caught me" then he throws a smoke down and disappears and leaves a note.....

you can open all of those houses after you get the lock pick tools from the would be thief in earthrealm.
and so you know, you take that letter to a man in the hut directly next to that one
and further, there's a small village of "raiden followers", they're actually scorpion's in disguise, so to speak.
as for the corpse key... I've thoroughly searchs earth realm, nether realm, and chaos realm today. I'll get the other three tommorow, but these may be keys to nothing...
It is mortal kombat... anyone remember when people hacked MK2 to find "Kano Wins!" and "Sonya Wins!" in the coding? I sure do, heh.
Long story short, it's possible they don't go to anything. I'm not going to stop trying yet, but it's starting to look more and more like easily found items aren't worth so much.

As for as the MKD strategy guide I found more off this site than in the guide. I bought the guide when I got the game, didn't see any help in it but haven't checked it that thoroughly.

I think it's about time someone made a full (or most) item list & use thread......
-Anyway The lockpick is gathered very early in the game (one can even get it before going to Bo Rai Cho's house near the docks).
-The key on the body in Netherrealm is still a mystery to me, and everyone else it seems.
-I assume the item Reptile lost was either the Kamidogu or a some coins about 10 feet from where Reptile stands. I'm leaning more towards the Kamidogu idea though.
-I don't know where Kintaro is yet, but I've heard some have run into him. I've seen Motaro very early on in Earthrealm though. All he gives you is a sack of coins.
As for where I'm confused:
-I forgot who and where someone asked me for some scroll to retern their memory. I got Blaze his potion, but this is a different person, and it's a she. Besides that, I can't remember who or where.
-Did the golden chest that appeared only at night near the Earthrealm portal somehow contain Shujinko's playable charecter? It would never open no matter how much I tried, but it is now open, and I've beaten Konquest once.
-The compass piece achived early on; does it have a use? Or is it just the compass in the upper left hand corner, and I just failed to notice it until I pick it up?
-Who the hell is Hakushu(SP?) The Tarkatans who stand watch near Nitara's cave mention him every other time I talk to them. And further more, why are they watching the mountain side anway? I stuck around to see if a chest appears but no luck.

The person who asked for the scroll for her identity was Kira. She is in Chaosrealm in their graveyard. Afterwards, you can train with her.

Compass piece? You mean the lodestone? It is given to a woman walking the roads in earthrealm near where the village gate is. She gives you koins I believe.
Hakushu is new to me.
