Khameleon=Li Mei?

In my desperate attempt to somehow fit Khameleon into the game storyline wise at least (I am an anal completist), I have formulated 3 hopeful theories (but if the Midway team has shown us ANYTHING, is that they don't care and they won't put her in :'( ).
Theory 1 - super onlockable (I hate that word too after MK Deception, but I'm praying that that's an option!)
Theory 2 - Chameleon and Khameleon are the same person (at least she'd be in it storyline wise, or maybe as an alternate costume)
Theory 3 - Li Mei is Khameleon (I know that this may SOUND like bullshit, but there were a few people who were right about Nood Saibot being Classic Sub-Zero). Since Zaterra has been destroyed it makes sense that Khameleon could've been living in Outworld; Li Mei is from Outworld. Khameleon could've been hiding from Shao Kahn by posing as Li Mei (they never did explain how Khameleon went undetected for so long, and we know that Saurions can change their appearance). Li Mei shows proficiency with Sais, and in some early screenshots of MK:D we see her using Kitana's fans (maybe this was an idea already at the time of that screenshot for the MK team). And to top it off, Li Mei's ending had her marrying the Dragon King who was A) anti-Shao Kahn (like Khameleon), and B) Kinda in Reptile's body.
Again, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, hope for this is what's keeping me out of depression over the possibility of a Khameleon-less MK:Armageddon.sad

Theory 1 is somewhat possible...
Theory 2 is a big no. Chameleon and Khameleon aren't the same person.
Theory 3 is not likely either. Khameleon is a Raptor and is from Zaterra. Li Mei is a human-ish type character and a native of Outworld. Zaterra was not destroyed. It was conquered by Shao Kahn and merged with Outworld a long time ago. Li Mei is referred to as being young, and although the standards of age in other realms is different from Earthrealm's, it still shows that she can't be Khameleon.

I started to think this to, so yeah I agree it would be a good way of explaining her. Also on a scan it was li mei who was in somewhat of a lizard form that they said was khameleon, so I say yes on this one.

Interesting theory here with the Li Mei idea.
Given the merger, perhaps Khameleon did learn to conceal herself more efficiently and perhaps she killed and stole Li Meis identity.
However, given the build up for Li Meis own story, I don't see this as likely. Remember that she fought the DA for 'her' people and that Khameleon and Reptile are the only existing Zaterrians still alive. So if Li Mei were Khameleon, that would render that story false.
I like the idea, but I don't think it'd work out.

I seriously doubt that.
Li Mei is clearly young, even by Outworld's standards.
I find it awfully funny for Khameleon to be so gullible.
There's no real indication or possible connection for Khameleon and Li Mei to be the same person. I wouldn't like the idea anyway.

I think the theory is very plausible. Li Mei doesn't look at all like a Saurian, but neither does Khameleon the last time we saw her. It is also very plausible that Khameleon pick up a duel identity or perhaps Li Mei is her real name on Zaterria and was just called Khameleon. I mean the fate of her race seems pretty decided. So maybe when she blended into the Outworld village, that became her new home so to speak. Then when threatened by the Deadly Alliance she stood up for her people, as if they were Saurians and she were standing up for them. Not saying that's what I believe, but it seems very possible. Nice theory and very interesting.

I also dont agree with the theory of Li Mei being Khameleon. There where some good points but it really doesnt connect.
