I figured out how to see Kintaro. When you first enter the forest in B-6 or earthrealm, he comes out of the tree infront of you. He is there for a split second then disappears. I don't know what this means of it has any significance...
I tried talking to him and punching him but nothing seems to work, if I run out of things to do I will just save while he is on my screen and see if that does anything
I saved right before I opened the chest so I keep quiting and going back to try to do things to him. If anyone has any idea's, let me know.

I think Kintaro might be in Edenia too. I talked to an Edenian woman, and she said somthing about a four-armed tiger running aroung, though I have yet to actully see him.

If you get a chance to talk to him I think hes gives you like 500-1000 ruby coins. Similar to Meat in the Netherrealm but with ruby instead of onxy.

I talked to Motaro in Chaosrealm and all he did was give me 1000 Ruby koins and then disappear. Probably the same thing with Kintaro.

I've been looking for him everywhere in edenia, but I can't find him anywhere... The first time you see him is in Earthrealm at b6 right after you open the chest in the forest, the tree infront of the chest.(for the person who was looking for him)
And I can't talk to him, I run up to him and push A as fast as I can all over him but he won't talk. And I tried punching him but I can't do that either...

I have also seen Kintaro. I talked to the woman who said that people hide behind the trees or something.

All they said was you would see every MK character in Konquest, they never said you would interact with every character.

i found it to he just walks out ive done the same thing u did. i tryed everything. he just walks out for like 4 seconds after u open a chest for like 500 rubies

We really need to start writing all this down (could already be a guide liek that but i dont know of one) and with everyones input and experience we could have a killer guide about everything you can see and do in konquest mode.
Theres lots that peopel have mentioned that i havnt seen personally in the game.
i think my most satisfying moment was knocking out Mokap. although he just gives you some dumb video
