ok, first of all, i did not take this, somebody else did. and i myself have yet to find him. but i have the clues.

If this is the Konquest Kintaro, then this is nothing of importance. It has been known for a while. There are a few characters like him in Konquest that just appear for a second to give you koins, then vanish again. Characters like Motaro and Meat do the same thing in certain places. It's just a cameo and is no sort of SU.

It is Kintaro from Konquest mode from the Earthrealm. Here is how you find him. When you first exit the village, and enter the Earthrealm side go straight ahead from the gates, and into the woods. You'll notice a chest in the woods. Get to the right side of the chest and face towards the way to open it. When you open it, get ready to run straight out from the chest to a nearby tree where Kintaro will appear, look around, and then vanish. No one knows what for though. If you have opened the chest, you won't see him again. In Edenia, Kintaro appears in the open field randomlly near the Freedom Fighter's Camp.

Do the people here not pay attention to posts? Look at the picture. He only has two arms, instead of four. He's changed. Would that not be a good sign that something is up with him other than Konquest mode, since they didn't bother to make any changes to characters as they appear in Konquest mode unless they appeared differently as you play them in Arcade mode?

Despite not having the number of arms hes supposed too, he looks alot more musclebound than when we first seen him in 3d from the konquest trailer a few months back.

Kintaro has 4 arms. They're just at his side and closely under his higher set of arms. If you've ever seen him in the Prison stage, he's got his 4 arms right there.

haha, thats right, he should know ,he took it! Anyway, it looks to me like he only has two arms here. Maybe this is because they just put a kintaro skin on another fighters wireframe, that would explain him just making a cameo. Also, if kintaro only has two arms, what about Goro? If you've seen those two guys in the lava pit in the netherrealm, one of them looks like cage and the other like a two armed Goro!! Can anyone confirm that kintaro has just two arms in konquest?wow

Actually, if i remember correctly from mk2, kintaro always had 2 arms. The one in the prison level is goro. Just dressed cooler than usual. But my memory could just be fading. I haven't played mk2 since '96.

I believe you about not creating it. When you talk to the right villigers in Edenia they'll screamsomething about a half man-half tiger creature. I was really surprised to see Motaro was in the game. That was a really cool to throw in Konquest mode. Oh yeah, did any one else notice Jerek looking down on the Acid Pit arena?

I can second this is a real pic. He does have Four Arms and the pic is in the earthrealm.
Also in the small group of huts where you scare the old man into a heartattack you can find MOTARO look for him in the day time between the hut on the opposite side of the old man's house. He'll be in between that house and the small patch of forest.

woah woah woah, there are goro/kintaro chars in the prison? that means that in my mind theres a larger chance of playing/fighting these guys since they have renders for this mode of play already developed (that was my stance on the other guys in the background aswell).
