Kira has sonyas moves.... oh boy... (spoiler)

i cant believe this, that really sucks, why would u have sonyas moves when thats one of ur enimies, did i miss something, did kano & sonya get there freak on? and we missed it, man i knew it, i know the real reason wanted kano dead now, its because kano didnt give the prostitute her money!!! lol syke, but n e way, on the subject, i am very dissapointed, its very stupid, i was looking foward to her, but he fatalities are lame, move set is lame, no originality except for the look.... what do you guys think

No, since Sonya and Kano ain't in, Boon thought it would be cool to give Kira a mixture, sorta like the Noob-Smoke idea. I quite like it. Like that guy said. Kira has the moves and she's freaking fast. What more do you want!? LOL

Dude, when we saw Kira for the very first time, all I could think of is how she looked iike an evil version of Sonya. Looks like that's how the development team see her too. wink

u cant give kira the kiss of death spray as a special move, its just dumb and stupid, sonya should be the only one able to do it, its like when they gave it to kitana too, everyone hated it, why do it again? i just think everyone should have there own speacial powers, not bite off someone else

well since kira looks 10x cooler than either kano or sonya, i am all for just puting their moves into one mega-fighter.

I'm with this guy, if she has sonyas moves than that sucks. Like how Kenshi has Ermacs moves and a few others had the same moves in past mk games. But I've gotten over it before, and i'm sure i'll get over it pretty quick this time around too. I doubt it's gonna keep me up at night, and I HOPE no one here loses any sleep over things like this. LOL

I agree 100% but think about it MK has been around since all you even had pubics... so these bastards have no choice but to do what they are doing i mean seriously.. how many creative new movies and special moves can you think of.. and if they just put the same old ones in.. no one would buy.

Yeah Guys, because mortal kombat games in the past never had characters with similar moves.
My word,theres so many I don't even want to make a list.

I was a little pissed when I heard about kira having Kano's and Sonya's moves but after thinking about it if you know what and how to do your enemies attacks you can defeat them.
I also hope this means sonya and kano arent in MKD.

" actually like this line of story with Kira.She learns Kanos moves since he was the big wig in the BD and obviously she looked up to him.She also learns Sonyas moves out of the pure hatred and obsession she has with her.I like where that story is going.It kind of holds true to life in certain aspects."

What is it with people feeling it necessary to call that character a whore, slut, skank or prostitute? Be a little more mature here, people.
That aside I agree that Kira should have been given her own move set, but it actually makes sense that she has a mix of both, as someone else said.
Kinda how in the movie Kano was all "I studied all your moves." It's good to know the tactics of your enemy so you can either counter them or use them in return.

I think Kira will be a good character to fight with, even if she has Kano's & Sonya's moves. She still looks great. Even if she doesn't have her own moves. Maybe she is one of those sneaky characters that hides in the shadows and copy every single attack the other character does. tongue tongue tongue

I can't beleive it. Its Jarek all over again! Make a character from a classic character. Meh! Why can't they give Kira new moves like....Bitchslap...and......skank kick!
But seriously, they should seperate kira and Sonya. Sonya and Kira are individuals and they should stay individuals, Kira should have her own moves or risk being the new Jarek.

If they are going to give Sonya's and Kano's moves to someone else then why not just put Sonya and Kano in the game. They're both pretty awsome characters.

Kira has better fatalities than Sonya, thats for sure. Although, if she had a variation of Kano's Heart rip, she'd be perfect. She's my favorite MK Female, shortly in front of Ashrah.

So far, I've only seen one move of Kira's, and that's the Kiss of Death haze. She might have variations to Kano's and Sonya's other moves, who knows? And her Dragon Teeth knives look much more dangerous and useful than Kano's butterfly knives. Plus, she's quicker and looks better than either of the characters she 'cloned'. You don't like it, then don't play her when you get the game. Sheesh, it's not that difficult to do.
