Kira.. Perhaps decieving more than you'd think?

I don't know why but every time I hear a description of Kira (I haven't seen the sketch of her so this is all just based on how I've heard her described) she seems to have an almost Sonya-like flavor to her... Which makes me wonder...

What if Kira turned out to be an undercover Sonya? The Special Forces now know about the Red Dragon so doing a covert undercover job to draw the Red Dragon out into the open might be a good plan. Also considering that a member of a clan thought to have been all but destroyed coming out of nowhere makes this idea seem not so farfetched.

But then again this is all speculation and I'm probably wrong but wouldn't that be kind of interesting?

Actually that would be pretty cool. Ive seen the sketch and she does kinda have that sonya "flavor". But who knows if your speculation would be true. I doubt it though. Nice idea though.
Very interesting concept! I think this would be an excellent storyline, especially considering Jarek was supposed to be one of the last member of Black Dragon!

I haven't seen the sketch of Kira yet, but I liek the concept of your story for her. Is she was indeed Sonya undercover, we'd finally have a good story for her. And also, the many things that could happen to her whilst undecover leaves lots of room for an even better story.

I like the idea, but I'm not really for Sonya returning. They need to leave her out of at least one game for now as far as I'm concerned. Still, good idea man! With the cut off shirt, athletic but sexy physique, I can see where you'd draw this idea from.

Who knows though, maybe I could like Sonya again if Jax is for sure not going to be playable in the game.

i saw the sketch and thought she was a bit Kano esque what with the one eye obscured, the sinilar names and that, but I had the same thought as you (ie she's Sonya) reading the news on the front page of this website. Perhaps the reason we have been shown a sketch rather than a render or screeny of her is that it would have been too blatant. Maybe Jax is another disguised character...

Then all we need is Jax in the Red Dragon and Cyrax in the Tekunin and we're right.

Love that idea. If Sonya did enter the Black Dragon, she would probably use Kano as her base for her undercover design. This could actually give Kabal a storyline, too. Kabal attacks Sonya thinking that a woman named Kira is actually the last remaining member of the Black Dragon.

I totally agree... the thought had crossed my mind after I read her description and her eerie resemblance to Sonya.

If that is true... that would be one of the awesomest things to ever happen to a character in MK. We've never had a character disguised as someone else before....

Let's just please NOT start the whole Reiko Kahn type shit again. PLEASE!

Anyway... this would be awesome, especially based on the whole "deception" thing. We shall see... and maybe her alternate is the regular Sonya! YAY!
