i woudnt mind about the theme song, but playable characters....NO. It would just be weird and i dont think it would fit with the whole MK feel. Maybe if there was a game called Mortal Kombat: Celebrity Edition then that would be ok.

Since when was johnny cage a 'main' character? That was one of the most moronic ideas I've heard...MK doesn't take any actual real life people and put them into one of its games. They might put styles and characters based off real people...but to have the music only be one band and to have 5 people take up space in a game...seriously stupid.

Thankfully the music in MK had never ever been sub par except for MK:SF. I bought MK:DA the day it came out and I have NEVER watched that adenma video trash.

even though im a huge kiss fan and think it would be cool for them to do the new "mk theme/video" for mkd (they do have the perfect sound for that..just listen to the revenge/carnival of souls albums)..i think mk should stay away from having any band(s) perform on the game and keep it more orginal.

I'm glad that's how they did it in MK:DA, so those who don't wanna have to listen to the song at anytime (including me) didn't have to, and if they were to do the same thing with MK:D with another band I hope they'll still do the same.
