A lot of the storylines are variations of past storylines or existing storylines. I didn't notice this particular similarity so nice that you pointed it out. Kitana wasn't in MK 3 but I know what you mean. The MK team is losing its originality, fast, and pretty soon, the game will get so unoriginal that they'll basically borrow characters from existing games, with the same name, same moves, same exact shit. And as for their bio, they'll keep it the same, but just add in how their getting revenge or some shit against whoever the boss is, or against whoever the leader of the good side is. THAT, will be the end of the MK era for good.
