I agree, he looks nasty, impressions of him have definetely changed. I thought that was awesome how he lured em to the edge to use the teleport elbow to send him flying off the ledge. Darrius and Dairou seemed pretty interesting as well.

That move soounds kick ass, however that tactic is pretty cheap. Good players will be able to see it coming though and those not so sure of what to expect will panic. It'll be a great move to use punish opponents.

Kobra might be one of my favorite characters, his overall look, looks like Cage but better. Cage is dead to me.

Kobra looks better than Johnny Cage, I wonder if he could take his place!

Personally im very excited about Kobra. Bein a Cage fan all my life im upset he seems to be left out of Deception (unless he's a super unlockable ). But Kobra seems like the MK team's attempt at makin someone like Cage a more serious character. He'll likely be one of the first i play with

Advice to people playing against Kobra: if he starts moving towards an edge, shoot projectiles at him for the rest of the round.

Did anyone else notice that he's got a high and low fireball?

Kobra totally reminds me of the Karate Kid villains.

He's probably going to be one of the most powerful mortals ever.

I'm gonna have to say when we first heard of Kobra("Ben" at the time) and saw him...I was a little worried that he just may be a filler...but after seeing him in action I'm very pleased with the MK team. They did a pretty bad ass job at making him work, and from the looks of it, work REALLY well. Can't wait to try him out =) as well as that shoulder bash move, looks devastating.

I freely admit I was in the "Kobra looks like filler" category for quite a while myself. But DAYAMN!

You know, I think this is the best batch of new characters in any MK ever, even better than MKII.

omg kobra looks like he is going to be one of my fav charas (movewise) despite him having some resemblences to other characters...while he looks like a preppyboy like cage (no offense cage users) he seems to pack a much more powerful punch. MK deception is using a much more fluent fighting system than DA because the comboes are mixes of highs and lows...if any1 turtles they are gonna get whupped up on eventually. this guy looks like he could be cheap but isnt that what top tier is some of the time? i just hope they balance him out to where he can still be beaten...but i already know that they act those movies out...the MK team isnt really fighting in those or else they would be using tactics instead of showing off all of their specials...a real player would expect that of kobra...at least the second time...anyways this guy looks awesome and i cant wait to play him...but he is going to come after a few (sub and scorp) and if he rocks then i got a new favorite...all that im sayin is that kobra, dairou, and darrius have much better special moves than hotaru and some others because they are strange and more complex looking...not all about the fighting. also their costumes are more thought out (except for kobra) than say hotaru or some others...but shoot this looks like a hell of a roster!

I liked kobra's look from the start.
I didnt mind The tekken look because I always wanted a MK earthrealm character to wear a gi.
Its an original look maybe not in tekken but in MK.
I didnt like kenshis atlernate because it was too simple. Kobra's has some design to it.
