Every time I thought about this it didn't make sence because you go to all that trouble just to get a portal that leads to no where?
Well what I decided to do is to try to talk to to all of those dimens that heng around.
One day I got to the area where you can find Johnny cage and the other guy ( Not where quan chi is but the outside where those dimens are henging out)
and tried talking to every single one of them many times.
Finally one of them gave me a hint.
He talked about that kochal is three headed dimen or a god.
That is the truth and if you guys dont believe me go try it by your self but remember, dont give up just yet , try talking to them more than one time.gringringringringringringringringrin

Of course Kochal is not the name of the portal, Kochal is the name of those three giant skulls behind the portal. That's the three headed demon or god.

I can verify the first poster tells the truth (re what an Oni said that is)
Whether that actually means any more than that or not who knows but I have my doubts.

hey what if it were really just the portal? hmm...
but! according to the picture, the oni said, transport oni to other realms... so maybe if you open up that portal, there are some onis you can find in other realms that would help you! what about that?

Nah when it transports you to a sorcer I think it means that it transports you inside the city walls because a sorcer can't go outside because he will start to loose your power.

That's not just what it stands for. It's the name of a three-headed demon.

It stands for both. Obviously the three skulls in the back =p
When completing Kabal, Kira and Kobra you're rewarded with Koins. Koin challenge.

I think what is really important is that we should try find out, how to get this Kochal guy and try find out more about him since it said defeat those guys to get kochal.

The problem with this thread is the flawed logic in the original post. You say that it makes no sense for Kochal to be a portal since it's stupid to do all that work just for a portal that leads nowhere. Well it doesn't lead to nowhere, it leads to a chest containing 1000 onyx koins, a very valuable reward. It has been established that what the oni says is only referring to the origins of the name Kochal being a three headed demon and there is not a SU Kochal character walking around.
