Kollector's edition not in Canada?

I just got back from EB and they said that it's possible they may not even get the collectors edition of MKD.... Now usually, I don't take anything they say too seriously, but being a huge MK fan, this comment and the fact that I am Canadian kinda has me worried....

This makes it more dissapointing that Arcade Treasures won't have MK1 in it now because if this ends up being true (and I still believe Canada will get it) Arcade Treasures was really my only hope of getting an arcade perfect MK1...

It could be a sad day in Canada.... Oh well... our beer is good.

When you go to EB, get them to look up the one that's $79.99 instead of $69.99. That's the collector's edition. They have it for both PS2 and X-box.

yeah i was just there to day i had to change my reservation to the collectors edition we're getting it

I better reserve my copy of the Special Edition of MK:D. So this in fact confirms we are getting it in Canada then? I'd hate to go all the way to EB tomorrow and find out we ain't getting it. BTW, how much do they ask to reserve it?

That's odd, US and Canada share the same region as far as games are concerned so it must be an error by their part.

You should be able to get the Kollector's/Premiun Pack in Canada.

Remember when you go in that it IS available, no matter what they tell you. A lot of places don't like to do anything that requires them to actually work, so sometimes you have to prod them a little.

Here's the product numbers (Write it down and take it with you):

PS2 - 2448405 MK DECEPT COL PS2
X-box - 2447050 MD DECEP CO ED XB

Both are $79.99 + taxes.

Even if they don't sell it in Canada, couldn't you order it online and get it that way?

I feel your pain, I have been waiting 9 years for an unadulterrated arcade perfect port of MK1 (my fave)

When I went to EB, the 2 guys there actually told me that it would be the collectors edition with an arcade perfect version of MK1- hehe, I even mention the fact that midway took out MK1 or midway arcade treasure hits 2. And he knew that too! I'm so glad that the EB near me are MK fans.

Well, anyway I'm pretty sure there will be more Kollector Edition and Premium Pack available in stores the day of release than the regular edition . The Collector is 10 dollars more right?? So they want customers to buy that one to make more profit. The Collector won't be so rare believe me, it's just a tactic to urge people to buy (while supply lasts)

I have already pre-ordered my copy here in Ontario. I got the Xbox version. They dude couldnt find it's listing at first but I told him that I know it's in there cause I know someone who has pre ordered it already, so he kept looking and after a while he found it. they are just to lazy to look. Just make up some bull and have them keep looking. They guys there are stupid.

anyways, I pre-ordered the guide and the Xbox Kollecotrs Edition and paid full price. So I just gotta go pick it up when the game comes out. :D
