As for my recommenations
I think Sindel or Kira should have a whip.

Here are some I'd like to see:

Ben: Either a Nunchuku or Morning Star if Li Mei doesn't get it
Noob Saibot: The Scythe from MK4
Kira: Either a couple of Daggers or a Ball and Chain like Go Go Yubari from Kill Bill (taken off another thread)
Smoke: Crescent Blades (idea taken from another thread)
Sektor: Double Ended Pulse Staff or Pulse Axe (NOT Pulse Blade: that would make him too much like Cyrax) Kabal: Hookswords
Dairou: 2 Samurai Swords
Skab: Don't know. Any ideas?
Tanya: I'd love to see the Boomerang back, but I doubt it
Liu Kang: Flamberge a la MK4/Kung Lao's MKDA weapon
Jax: Tonfa, I guess
Raiden: Staff, of course
New Shokan: Iron Club or Spiked Mace
Vampire: Kamas, like Nitara

I think that's all the cast known so far.

and how about Kenshi?
he sure will come back with his katana sword.
because he is a swordman and a spy that works for the special force at the same time.
should he get some stuff from the special foce too?
