Well, According to the Mk team EVERY character in the mortal kombat universe is gonna be in Konquest mode. that is a lot of information. If it starts with Shujinko at age 13, he has 50 years to travel through the 5 Mk games. we see him talking to mk1 n mk2 renders of characters such as sub-zero, reptile, and Kitana. the newly released pic of shukinko fighting kabal hints that is around the time of mk2. I believe that he is fighting Kabal but it is not his Alt costume. his alt would have to be new, and this is before he donned the trench in Mk3. but if he does go through the game and end up at age 60 or so then why in vids have we seen a young Shujinko talking to new models of Tanya and Mileena. hmmmm... so i guess my question is, do you think they can gather all this Info and put it Chronologically in order so that the mode does end around the time the Dragon King reimmerses and would you rather play it that way or have kinda a choose your own path feel to it?

According to Steve Allison, chief marketing officer for Midway, Konquest will take 20+ hours to komplete. Sounds great to me smile. I would personally like the 'choose your own path' feel to it.

shujinko is fighting kabal in the chess kombat mode, hence the chessboard on the dead pool's floor

yeah but who says you can choose alt costumes in chess?

I mean who says It is Chess, The other chess in game battles dont have the chess board design under them. I think its the level.

And I was thinking the same thing with Tanya and Mileena. Konquest will definatley be an awesome time consuming aspect of the game.

That's not Shujinko. It would be dumb and doesn't make sense. You unlock him at the end when he is old. Making it his alternate costume will screw up time.

just becasue it has the chesslike floor doesnt mean it is a chess board. the vids show different typed levels in the chess mode, and when you go into a "fight" the floor is not the chess board, it's of the level you fight at... just like Nizzim Said.

but doest young shujinko look exactly like kung lao from his mkda ending, also from one of the loading screens in mkda that shows kung lao kneeling down on the ground??
20+ is awesome news to me. Loved Kights Of The Old Republic.

yeah young Shujinko does look like Kung Lao alotta but i doubt they would keep that crappy no hat on look for him, god i was so happy the day i unlocked his alt. i got the game and i was like where the crap is Kung Lao, and i saw this dipshit lookiing warrior, but anyways i hope it is not Kung Lao souly based on his appearance.

20+ hours is ALOT of game time guys..think about it...halo 1 was about 35 hours i think? was it 35 or 40..i belive it was 35..but 20 isint far off from 35 for one game mode! thats gonna be intense..also..pre-orded ma copy 2day

Well final fantasy 10 was about 80 hours. Its gonna be great. this is what im looking forward to most.

20 hours?

How long will it be to unlock everything and get all of Deception done. I've had DA since it came out and I barely got finished unlocking and getting everyones endings like two days ago. I'm busy though, I just play for like an hour or something and then i'm up and about doing other shit.
