It could be one of three things.

1. It could be a stage weapon, but I highly doubt it.

2. Testing for Ben/Cobra in a way earlier version with Kitana's fans still in.

3. Testing for Kitana's fans, meaning she is in the game.

4. Boon and his idiot ways could have given the fans to Li Mei .. let's face it .. the guy had a knack for copying things with new characters .. sadly, it seems he may be running out of ideas .. he should think about hiring some of us. lol

I think its Kitana, after all remember that her second outfit in MKDA had her wearing purple instead of blue, besides its alittle late int the development process to just be giving a character the steel fans for testing purposes.

I couldnt agree more. She had a purple outfit and I believe it is Kitana.

You guys aren't thinking well enough. Kitana is not confirmed and she doesn't wear purple and a bakini, so that strikes out Kitana. Lei Mei already has her weapons called melons. Ben already has his weapon it is a mace. They're is probobly a mode in MK:D that you can pick your own weapon's to fight with(Like in MK4).

maybe you can just like "edit" your char before a fight like giving them the weapon you like.

this would be... kool in a certain way but... it's still pretty odd.
