I don't have a picture, but a Melon is like a Mace, like Quan Chi used in Mortal Kombat 4.

Right now she doesn't have a Melon. She has a spiked mace called Morning Star.

Both Li Mei and Scorpion have incorect weapons on their 'status'-like window on the character select screen.

Dude, JAX007 said just said it was called a Morning Star.

I suspect that Morning Star is purely the stage Weapon for the Ying/Yang stage.

Reason is that Li Mei is seen using it on that stage and also so is Kobra (Ben).

ok let me break it down
Li Mei has two mace's titled "Morning Star"(they just gave it a fancy name to sound cool)

A "MELON" is a mace like weapon w/o spikes
and is pronounced (me)-(lon) NOT like the fruit (melon)

Okay, that weapon picture that Nightwolf just posted is of Melon, and as far as we know, that will be Li Mei's new weapon, unless there is a late change. At Gamespot, they have a picture of Ben/Kobra savaging Hotaru with a weapon that looks like a Nunchaku, but has a spiked ball on the end. That, I believe, is the Morning Star, and at that the moment, that is Ben/Kobra's weapon. And it cannot be a stage weapon, as in one video, Li Mei pulls out a Morning Star.

I really like the weapon they gave Li Mei. Melon IMO was a very good choice, especially since there is a high chance Li Mei turns out to be evil.

I think Li Mei’s sudden image change from sweet-rip off to deadly evil soldier was the best that could have ever happened to her character.

Melon fits that evil aspect she seems to have. I only hoep they make it like Gogo’s weapon from Kill Bill 1. The giant steel ball with changes and spikes. Or give it to Sonya instead!

Melon BTW is something like Quan Chi’s Mk4 weapon, only without the spikes.
